I played for quite a while after the bug wiped my stuff, and no I did not surpass the 40 bucks worth of specter packs i had bought. Some of us work, hence the purchasing of the packs so that I wouldn't be left behind, hence the extreme nerd rage when all my gear disappeared.  Unfortunately, I have not unlocked most of the weapons or characters that I had previously purchased. Now I play the two iOS apps to keep my galaxy rating up. not nearly as fun as co-op.

Bioware should just give refunds back to the people who lost biowarepoint more than a month ago...

Yeah this issue is definitely not fixed. I first hand saw on someone else's account, a spectre pack bought, the items displayed on screen (including an N7 Talon) and then boomf, vanished. No weapon, and no credits. Amazing code guys, truly.

The game's only been out for three weeks. If you were one of the few who got an advance copy, well then I guess you're just in the same boat as the rest of us now anyway.

I'll post here the same thing as in the other topic:
So, I talked to the live help again, they have records on how many items we bought, at least when it comes to BW points. They also know how many points were charged(surprise surprise) and that there is this problem, but they still won't charge them back.
Long story short, I was told to wait again, with no additional relevant information.
I also asked them to contact BW and tell them to write something here (seems a bit naive, but worth a try :) :))

I also checked "My Cases" on EA help page. Interestingly, all the previous cases were closed (without me knowing anything or getting any solution).

Just lost a specter pack for the fifth time. Not to mention the dozen or so lost to the wipe bug. Would it kill to give an update on the possibility or status of restorations?

I'm still hoping to get my Krogan Soldier back sometime. I'm also starting to worry he won't appear agains as I already unlocked him. Would just like to know where Bioware is on this situation.

Obviously "soon" to Chris Priestly, means "oh maybe in a month or two, or we'll just hope you forget, whichever coems first."

Last weekend I went up to Rank 300 and then changed the looks of my Salarian Infiltrator. Logged out shortly after and when I came back online a couple of hours later I had suddenly dropped to Rank 280 and the Infiltrators appearance was changed back (and he also had no weapons equipped, which shouldn't even be possible because the game always tells you that you must have at least 1 wepon equipped). Oddly enough all characters were still at Level 20 and so I'm wondering WTF happened here to the 20 ranks and the colors I chose. While this is not as bad as the problems other people are having I'm still totally pissed because I wanted my Rank to stay at 300 with all characters being at level 20 which is no longer possible because if I promote and level up again I will be at Rank 310. Or if promote 2 characters and don't level up again... well I'm at rank 300 again then but I have 2x Level 1 chars. But that's not the bad part. The bad part is because of this **** I'm now afraid to log into multiplayer at all because I'm afraid I might lose something more important than a few ranks. Like every damn unlocked and upgraded weapon I got.

After i soldiered on after losing my first entire weeks playtime on multiplayer to this bug i very quickly unlocked everything i had lost. I'm still owed at least 30 spektre packs but after seeing this bug was fixed i felt comfortable entering the shop while ready in a MP game, that or i'd just totally forgot about this bug. Last night it happened again to me.. Widow X, Carnifex X all gone.

After several minutes of panic. i decided to exit the game and reload. ORIGIN ERROR CLOUD BLAH BLAH, restore from LOCAL?, <CLICK YES> now all my stuff is back thank god.....

am also becoming very annoyed. The bug itself is cause for annoyance,
but the lack of communication is becoming insulting. Chris, even a
simple edit of the main post of " Hey guys, we're still slogging through
all the logs. We haven't forgotten about you, and we're sorry this is
taking awhile." would go a loooong way to making us feel better. When
the main post hasn't been edited or responded to by any BioWare staff in
over a week (let alone 12 days) it's worse than just telling us it's
taking more time.

Sure, we could infer from your initial post
that if it hasn't been fixed then work is being made to address the
issue but you'd think the dozen or so pages of comments on this would be
a sign that we'd very much appreciate a "hang in there guys" from you.

Please.. .that's really all we'd like while you're working on helping us out.

I'm more annoyed by this thread reporting 50 different bugs related to loss of items but not related to the ORIGINAL bug. Nobody has given a straight answer, since the patch that fixed this, has ANYBODY had all of their inventory entirely wiped out?

 Please Bioware, make this right. If your intent was to make me beg, then I am letting you know it worked flawlessly. Multiplayer was the only redeeming factor of my purchase of this game (on account of the terribly written story) so please,  just let me have this.

Hmm. Really Bioware? 13 days and counting... "working on" helping us? would've taken a week MAX.

Information is literally a 20 second post saying "We're sorry its taking forever, we didn't forget you."

Need i define the word soon for you?

Everyone hit by the glitch deserves compensation for the time and/or money they lost in your game's glitch, so- keep "working on " it... ALITTLE harder. Your community is A TINY BIT upset over this. And you keep releasing new events and new packs. But you STILL haven't given anyone who was reset and may have lost ALOT of time. I personally lost 50-60 hours or so of play time in multiplayer to the glitch, and everything i had was taken from me. Even worse than losing time is the people who paid money for packs just to hit a glitch and get reset.

Bioware, FIX THIS MESS YOU'VE MADE BY RELEASING AN UNFINISHED GAME. Reimburse those that were relocked. Start actually CARING about the community.

This bug made me vow to never spend Microsoft points on packs. I think the bug wipes the memory of you items and levels to an earlier time, hence there are no records of your activities after that point. They have no idea what you lost and hence have no way of fixing it.

They are not handing out free points because they have no way of knowing which claims are real and which are just con artists trying to get free stuff. There is just no memory or record at all hence they are doing this thing blind.

If they don't compensate the people that really did lose their stuff then they will continue to lose costumes like me; busy players who are willing to pay real money to save "farming time".

They have to do something for us. If they don't, we're gonna walk. Right now, I'm not spending any money on EA or Bioware products. Surely they must realise this. Even if they're nowhere near a solution, it's in their vested interest to keep us satisfied so we continue to be customers.

By this point I don't think even restoration of items will satisfy people. Some have already reunlocked what they used to have. Even if they merge my old items with my new stuff...it's not like I can have a Mattock XII or an Avenger XX. I'm gonna get shortchanged on cards either way. 

I honestly think we deserve something above and beyond just restoring what we've lost, or restoring credits/points spent. They should be compensating us for the trouble they've caused. That said, I'm a pessimist. The way we've been treated so far, I'm expecting to get shafted.
