We should have an option to save (and delete) that data on our side in case of errors,

I want all my MP progress including SP data that is stored on your servers reset or wiped.
Changing my Origin ID will invalidate all my DLC and what have you.

Yeah, I just lost around 99,000 credits due to the same problem - saved up for a premium pack, wouldn't complete the transaction.  oddly enough, at the same time, it undeployed the new krogan I'd gotten in a previous spectre pack.  The credits seemed to stay, until I rebooted the game - big mistake.  credits gone and krogan undeployed (but still unlocked, thankfully).

Y'know, I'm just pissed off 'cause I lost the credits. Had I lost actual BioWare Credits, I would currently be filing a lawsuit against you for failing to supply purchased goods.

You guys had better do something to get this fixed, do it quickly, and work very swiftly to refund people what they lost.

At first I thought you guys were just screwing over single player for multiplayer with all the crap you pulled. But now I find multiplayer is just as broken.

I've pretty much given up on EA and Bioware in regards to this. I lost my level 16 Quarian Engineer, thousands of credits, never did get my Victory pack and have gotten no anwsers or "support".

Bugs are one thing. Complete and utter lack of support is another.

I mean really, it has been mentioned dozens of times (pages at this point) by now... Just update us even if it means "Hey guys, this has been a nightmare but we're still working on it."

Not updating at all is... insulting. Aggravating. Terrible public relations. My post above (I almost edited it with this one but decided to leave it up as an example) stems purely from no response whatsoever, with EA customer support repeatedly telling us to come here for updates.

I don't understand how any business, let alone one such as BioWare (which has traditionally had the BEST customer service in the business) can honestly think that SILENCE is the best tactic to take in regards to this issue. Yes, many people losing credits in game have started flooding this thread, but let's not forget the actual issues at hand:

1) People lost their progress with a full kit reset. -> This issue has been fixed.
2) Many of those people had spent BioWare points (read; MONEY) on packs that had been reset. -> This issue has not been fixed, and other than acknowledging that it exists and that a solution will be coming "soon" a month ago, we've had NO contact. Despite EA telling us to come here for information.

If the information hasn't changed... update the post and say so. Don't leave it looking like you've said your piece and have moved on, never to return. That's just... not right.

Hey guys,
some time ago I recieved a mail from customer support.
It is the first feedback that I recieved so far. Yes, it does provide only general
(maybe even meaningless) answers, but well, it is something and I thought
it would be better to mention it here. So that we'd have something positive to cling to :P

"[..] I understand that issues like these are upsetting. I will do everything to get these rectified. Please note that this is a known issue and Bioware are trying very hard to fix as soon as possible. In the mean time, we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you. I understand that this will not be the answer you were looking for and I can only hope that your enjoyment of the game is not spoiled by this situation. Please accept our apologies for this highly unfortunate occurrence. [..]"

I also know, that they do have records on what we bought - I've been told the exact numbers of the packs that I bought before. I don't think that restoring exactly the same items and chars we had is possible and it wouldn't be
a good option in the first place, but it would be ok to get the same number of packs we bought.
And I believe this is doable.

Yes, it does take them ridiculous amounts of time to fix it and I have absolutely no idea why they don't communicate now. Right now I feel like doing their work. It wouldn't be so hard to write a few sentences each work commenting on their progress. Or anything really.

Also, I thought I'd uninstall the game and just leave it until at least summer, (I was hoping for at least one enjoyable and satisfying SP game, which is impossible now (for me at last)), but seeing how I need to check my MP regularly, it would just complicate things.
So, I'm giving it one more try (still no SP though).

(this is when somene from BW should come in and say "Sorry, we're with You, but we have awfully lot of things to do (ending, multiplayer and singleplayer bugs), so it takes more time than we thought." :P)

It's definitely possible, but obviously EA/Bioware doesn't want to do it that way.

As you said, it'd take a LOT of time for customer support to give us points, credits, or packs back manually. Do you really expect them to go through that trouble? Clearly they don't want to.

The Operation Goliath commendation packs had to be issued that way. I'm sure EA customer support hated having to do all those one by one, by hand. The Operation Raptor packs still haven't been reissued, and that's because they're obviously working on an automated fix.

I'm betting that's the case for our problem too. Or at least I hope that's the case. I note with mild annoyance that the Operation Raptor thing has gotten multiple ETAs on when it'd be fixed, whereas we haven't gotten a peep. But then, the Raptor commendation pack thing affected a majority of players, whereas we're a minority.

Fact of the matter is, EA/Bioware can get away with ignoring us. That's not a pleasant thing to hear, but it's true. Even if we all take our money and quit this game, it's just a drop in the bucket. I mean, they've kept us in the dark so far.

I'm sure they're working on this, but by this point - I think we must be pretty low on their priority list.

its insane that they can go this long with no new info. How can they justfy this, when people spend real money for some of these packs... How is that even legal to not give a refund?

Same.  I've lost probably in the neighborhood of 4-5m with all my equipment being lost, and COUNTLESS spectre and premium spectre packs lost.

Some kind of update on the situation would be a very welcome sight.

knock knock. anybody home?

No? Thought so.

Seriously BW that's just not how you should treat your customers. At least give us an update like "we're still working on it" or so ... Cause right now it feels as if you hope that we'll just forget that we lost money/credits due to a bug that had been present since the demo.

IF they wanted to assist the customer. (aka get the cust of their backs)
They would have hired a QA team for the project. There are far too many bugs for this to have been tested.

Didn't want to start a new post, but it's becoming quite annoying to have to buy a recruit pack before spending credits on anything else, just to make sure I am not going to lose big amounts of credits when the purchase bugs. I have lost count of how many times I have to completely close the game, close origin and then reopen both to get the store to work.

Now, so far, I have been beyond lucky in that I have not lose any BW points thanks to the store mishaps. I really enjoy the MP part of the game and have paid enough real money to buy a top-tier shooter to buy BW points to unlock stuff. But I should also be able to use my credits I earn in the match to safely buy things without losing them.

Any one else want to join in a class action suit for the fraudulent offers given by EA/Bioware which resulted in the theft of funds (MS points or otherwise) which have not been returned?

If I purchase a product, and the distributor has taken back said product without compensation for time/money wasted, I would not be interested in the value of words from the distributor. Either step up or step aside. Worse case, the suit gets thrown out IF there will ever be compensation for all of the time wasted.

Wow!

Started up ME3 today to find all Resurgance Pack content gone from my MP. No characters or weapons present. The Downloadable Content link still shows that I "own" the pack, so I'm sure it's a bug they are working on, but Bioware - you'd better remember what I had when you return the pack materials to my system. I had 3 of the 6 new characters unlocked and a kicka** Geth SMG level 5.

I also have a level 3 Harpoon gun, but I don't really use that thing anyway - can't get used to the charge/delay issue.

Speaking of lost items... I, and I´m sure A LOT of others, would greatly appreciate NOT losing my/our hard earned equipment when: Game connection is lost, game is too buggy to play and you quit etc etc... Since NO points or credits are earned and no progression is made unless you complete a game I think this is not too much to ask. I don´t think people are going to play any less if this tweak is made - I mean, it is a great game :-)

I cannot believe it. I have all my packs lost back. Asari Adept finally unlocked again (I couldn't get her again after I lost my gear), also lots of other upgrades.

Anyone else got their items back? Cannot be just me.

There's a lot of people in the other thread who got their items back as well.  Sadly, I wasn't one of them.  I keep a checklist of my unlocks, and I definitely didn't get any of my lost items back.
