I was going to try and keep playing MP as I do find it fun, but what's been said here makes sense. Time to boot up some other games and play something that gives a complete gaming experience.

The journey is important, I won't dispute that. However, BOTH the journey and the ending are what make a game great. There are lots of games I can play because they give me a fulfilling experience. I don't get that from ME3. If I don't get that feeling, I see no point in doing anything to support the company.

I'm all for GOOD speculation. Topics such as:

How will the Krogan act this time around? Will they follow Wrex's ideals and try to live with other species? Or will they try to start another Rebellion?

What will the Geth do? Will they also join the galactic community, or will they go back to being isolated?

What will happen with the Batarian society? Will they try to rebuild their old government, or will they try to go to something new?

(I'm sure there is plenty more that can be debated, these are just examples I can give off the top of my head.)

THESE questions aren't really answered in the game. These questions leave room for discussion where players can debate what they think will happen. This is good speculation. The ending as it was given to us is shoddy work.

In a way, those things are answered, because the mass relays were destroyed and the galatic community is cut off from each other by hundreds of years.

Just an example, Wrex's ideals wont matter because they are cut off from everyone, no need to get along with anyone..

I really want to do another play thru of ME3, this time doing everything perfect (I made a few mistakes last time, got Kelly Chambers killed, missed some missions due to Citadel Coup, etc.), however I will wait until a non-****ty ending comes out to do this.

I will only pay for DLC if they fix the ending really well. In fact I really want the whole catalyst thing deleted all together. It is a shame they will probably not want to get rid of the Stargazer clip, who knows how much Buzz Aldrin's VO costed?

Yeah, I would have been fine if they just ended it at "Shepard defeats Reapers/becomes Reaper" and allowed us to draw our own long-term conclusion about what happens.  But with the current endings, the only thing you can really speculate about is: How long do you think it will be before the Krogan on Earth just say "screw it" and start eating everybody?

I say two weeks.

People please remember it takes time for something like this to effect a company and for them to decide what to do. It has only really been a week since this started to blow up in their face. If we stick together we will win.

Hold the line for as long as it takes people.

To all the people bringing up DA2 as an example of this all happening before. However the DA2 rage was a lot more unfocused and all over the place.

Also the things people didn't like, they weren't the last 15 minutes. The things that seemed to attract that most hate, the rather meandering plots that just sort of ended, the constantly reused environments, those aren't things that can be fixed in a DLC.

I like DA2 I really don't think it's that bad, not the quality of DA:O and had it been sold as an expansion instead of a direct sequel it probably would have been received much better.

But with the things people were complaining about in DA2 nothing short of an entire game overhaul wold have been enough to please them. The amount of content needed changing to appease the majority of people in terms of mass effect 3 is far lower.

Thanks for the update Carnage752!

Though someone mentioned that making t-shirts could be copyright infringement.

What do you think?

Guys, be prepared to be in this for the long haul. If Bioware is in damage control mode, we have a fair amount of time and tricks to get through.

Be prepared, stay strong, and hold the line!

If so we need to tell the facebook guy. We can give him a little benefit of doubt though.

Will do but I'm rather taken aback by some of their PR stunts.

We could be in this for quite some time. However, I think we should at least look at PAX East for some news of how Bioware/EA intends to deal with this situation. By then hopefully something will have developed. But don't get your hopes up, we need to stay organized and indomitable willpower mode for the long haul to get answers.

This is April 6th through 8th.

They have until 6th April for me. That is when I will completely give up on them. That is when they no longer have me as a customer. As long as an ending DLC is "announced" properly, and is undisputed , I will hold the line.

It's how businesses operate.  There's no reason to rage about the PR stunts because if we show we're immune then they have to deal with us in a more straightforward manner.  Just be aware they're there and don't let any of them dull your call for fixed endings.

This kind of protest takes time and determination. They want us to lose momentum and burn out. Don't give them that satisfaction!

Yes!  it may take a few months but if we don't fall for their stall tactics we will win. We just have to stick together and not touch any EA or Bioware products until new endings DLC is released, It's only been a week, don't give up.

Hold the line for as long as it takes people.

It's okay coverage, but it puts too much faith in Casey's words, it's a PR piece to try and placate people who may have just finished.  They see that article and say, "oh, well if the endings are going to be fixed then that's okay".  By the time they realize the ruse it's too late.  Don't be complacent, comment on that article if you can about the need for concrete confirmation of an ending fix before anything will change.

If they try to explain away the current endings by simply giving more context these ones, I willl be pissed. They know perfectly well that no one wants that. They need to fix them, not explain them. The indoctrination theory is the only way I can see where they can "explain" it withouth pissing everyone off.

Actually this is old news.  If you look at page 1 of this thread you'll see mid-page that atghunter commented on this response and points out that it essentially says nothing.

@Razorsteel
That was a Casey Hudson post(what yesterday?) and if you read the whole thing and then the posts by atghunter and KeldorKatarn is sooo darn depressing to think Mr. Hudson is just following a typical PR tactic.
