A beautiful day here, sunny, pleasant and birds are chirping.

On the Bioware front I wonder what is going on? They did the PR thing, we called them on it, now they are probably going ... "Okay Plan "B" did not work, what is Plan "C"?"

They have until 6th April for me. That is when I will completely give up on them. That is when they no longer have me as a customer. As long as an ending DLC is "announced" properly, and is undisputed , I will hold the line.

Out of curiousity, why 6th?

1.6 million Xbox sells ? My god... and I was wondering why people actually care about the Kinect to a point where it would hurt the in-game features as a whole..... Now I know what to blame. Making the game competable for additional hardware is one thing ( like those Driver sets instead of using joysticks ) but changing the gameplay just to fit the hardware...well it is kinda insane. ( I know this because I read from some interview that they had to change some parts of the game to fit Kinect..... )

Well thanks for updated posts. It is a great read as always. As for our ''military'' campaign.... we don't want to hurt anyone in the process until we have NO CHOICE to make ourselves heard.

DA2 was a case where it was not a complete game or a very lacking game in MANY aspects , not just the ending. And it was one of the first steps that caused people's trust to be shaken.

And the rest...well you know what happened. Games like SWTOR and ME3 hyped to a point of excellence and for good reason. But when it falls short so bad ...there is bound to be a reaction and they only have themselves to blame for ''advertisement lies'' . It is almost as same as Politics.

Soo what's the point of this ? Well we want our ending for a great series we put so much effort and money on AND we don't want another Bioware game to make the same mistake in the future like this one. Because you do it once, you somehow get through with a little damage. You do it twice...damage will grow and you lose some of your fans and their confidence. You do it a third time ( DA3 sounds like a huge possibility ) and you might have to close up shop since most of your community won't trust you or buy your products anymore.

We don't want that. Bioware constantly provided us RPG lovers great games to compliment our enjoyment. Choices, great story and characters. But when they take a wrong turn and be ignorant about it, that means they can make the same mistake again in the future = a lot more of this kind of response and a lot more damage to their reputation and sales.

They might've survived the opening week because of the pre-orders and the hype that fans were waiting so long to finish the journey they loved....but now that they have awakened, they won't be fooled this easily now and think twice before getting caught up in the hype.

That is when PAX East is, they're supposed to have a panel there.  Place will be a madhouse if things haven't been explained by then.

That was a Casey Hudson post(what yesterday?) and if you read the whole thing and then the posts by atghunter and KeldorKatarn is sooo darn depressing to think Mr. Hudson is just following a typical PR tactic.

You are absolutely correct, i need to temper my enthusiasm.

Hold the line!

it was said but let me say this again: if someone doesn't want some situation to proceed until certain point the distraction is offered to split the "wavefront" of fans-it has been said millions and millions of time but DO NOT GIVE UP-HOLD THE LINE

Yeah, PAX East and it just happens to be one month after the American release date. I'm not American but that's when it was first released and nicely coincides with the only time I see them genuinely announcing something.

Well said, don't fall for the spin! Don't touch anything made by bioware or EA until we get new endings and we will win.

PAX East is a gaming convention that takes place annually. Gaming companies generally announce things and show off what stuff they've got coming up.

I believe it is in Boston, I think.

One thing different between DA2 and ME3,nobody from ME3 has called the fans Stupid yet.I replaced (paid for)DA:O+Awakinings and Ultimate Edition twice for a cracked disk,ME2 replaced once.I will not replace DA2 it's not worth it.And as much as I like Shepards story I won't replace 3 until a good ending that will fix the problems in the story. Also want the ability to get the best ending without multiplayer. Those of you that like multiplayer go for it if the game gets fixed.I just want the single player game that was promised.Even with all the leaks and spoilers people like 90 percent of ME3,we are not haters,we have no trouble letting go of Shepard and his friends. We just want our fiction to make sense and not leave a bad taste,or sour stomach.Hold the line.

A lot of people are posting a lot in here, and that's great, because it's one of the best and most-informative threads here on the BSN. But be sure you take what you learn here to other threads as well, some people may be a little daunted by the pure length of the beginning post. If you see people's strength wavering because of an obvious PR tactic, warn them. Let them know that we can't give in until we have concrete answers on ending fixes.

Hold the Line

EDIT: Also try to keep them civil towards people with differing opinions on the endings.  That sort of rage does not help the cause.

The only way Bioware can redeem themselves in the eyes of the gamer community is by fixing this. That or they are gonna become more pirated than UBISOFT.

Like the newest post. Basically if BioWare does do something, the will increase their goodwill. Increasing goodwill is an intangible asset companies use when making balance sheets.

FYI I am only in accounting 1 so my knowledge is limited.

Shouldn't be too hard: until something happens to renew my lost confidence, I don't want to buy anything else from Bioware.

Where is PAX East?
Please tell me it's somewhere near Nevada!

@Razorsteel
Had the same feeling when I came here thinking I somehow messed up ME3 and wanted help and saw all the uproar....lol
