Atghunter, man, you are knocking it out of the park with every post you make. I wish more of the fan base would duck their heads in here and read what you have to say. It's just very encouraging to have you here to help us see though the PR bull****. Much appreciated.

My game has been put on the shelf. I won't be taking part in the multiplayer weekend nor purchasing anything else from BW even though I love DA:O and DA2 with all my of my heart. I am ashamed that I have avatar items, collectors' editions, and have recommended this game to others.

Bump to the top, remember to boycott Operation: Goliath. Hold the line.

I have no interest in anything from Bioware until they fix the endings to ME3. Evne if they fix the endings, I will from now on wait a good long while and research any future Bioware products before I purchase them. No more pre-orders for me.

They may be trying to save face now, but their future profits are the question. We must remember there are many that just traded their game in and never posted on a  forum, and may never buy anything again from Bioware.

Absolutely True. Don't let a non-response placate you into thinking they're addressing our concerns.

Hold the line.

I figured it was only a matter of time before they delete this thread and I've been looking for a print option and haven't found one.

Let's all donate our copies of ME3 to charity. That will get their attention.

I'm not the expert, but judging from his post this seems like a reasonable assumption:

"ou will know that there’s a genuine need for dialogue in the corporate bunker when the message turns from “we’re listening” to “we acknowledge we may have
a disconnect with our consumers and are willing to discuss a meaningful
solution to the problem.” It signals an end to non-committed deflection
and opening genuine talks to solve the problem (it’s knows as “Exposing
Your Throat” btw). At present, you’ll notice Bioware/EA has only said
they will “explain” the endings. That’s not a give, that’s a delay
tactic."

Soooo, should I start sharpening my pitchfork now or should I wait for a little bit?

Pitchforks probably aren't necessary atm.  Though ultimately pool noodles at twenty paces might be a good way to settle this.

Stay strong, stay civil, stay passionate (no matter what side you take), and keep a good sense of humor at hand.

Today, I personally became a fan of the Marauder Shilds guy.

Still, we wanted to give players the chance to experience an inspiring and uplifting ending; in a story where you face a hopeless struggle for basic survival, we see the final moments and imagery as offering victory and hope in the context of sacrifice and reflection.

Casey, that's all we wanted, too, but it isn't what we got. I wasn't inspired or uplifted in the least.

I'm pleasantly surprised how nice it has to have a PR guy on this side of the fence for once. It's refreshing for us as well as educational. It's wonderful to know what is REALLY going on and more importantly WHY.

With the post late on a Friday, some people who will remember (I'm old, and it's St Patricks Day, I'll be lucky if I remember my name) should get some links ready to forward to appropriate parties Monday morning so they don't get lost and buried as I imagine is hoped.

As far as the "Tell us what you want in the ending" bit, I can't help but think this is more PR...
(because I've been a massive conspiracy theorist since this whole thing started)

On the surface it looks like "help us help you"

But the more I look at it, the more I think they want us to start putting out ideas and then start arguing over them amongst ourselves.

Deflect the non-quality ending topic by making us infight on what it should have been (because this is the internet, that's what happens here)

Then as that arguement gains steam, the original rage can just fade away

TREAD LIGHTLY MY FRIENDS

I was "Prt Scr"-ing it into paint and saving it as a series of screenshots :P. That way it's pretty much a word for word copy.

Yeah I was the opposite of that. I felt like Shepard's sacrifice was all for nothing.
