By the way, the proper place for discussion about PAX East is in my group, here:
http://social.bioware.com/group/7049/
Let's not spam this thread with conversation about it. I'll be happy to answer questions but the main venue of discussion is in the PAX East Platoon group.

The danger with trying to get a single leader is always faction building within the movement, attempts to define and organize things too strictly, disagreement with the way things are done despite agreement on the issue. Really I think it's good to have people with organizational skills setting stuff up like the donation drive, but trying to "pick" (an) official leader(s) has the potential to take focus away form what we're doing and create splinter groups, which is probably not helpful to the overall cause... but that's just my 2 cents worth.

Please take these discussions to the group or elsewhere. We don't want any more debates here please.

Carnage752, this is exactly what i mean, im not trying to be rude to you but you act like youre in charge here, and keep making statements that imply you have some authority.  Don't make "we" statements when in reality youre making "I" statements.  theres nothing wrong with talknig about things.  You get into trouble when you start deciding that youhave some sort of official opinion. You arent in charge.

Again, you cant force a loosely organised group to do things your way.  I'm sure youre just trying to help but i just want to let you know how youre coming acros to me.

I'm curious - who here is boycotting multiplayer altogether because of what is going on?

I don't think there is one right or wrong answer. Boycotting the multiplayer to make a statement is awesome. I also respect anyone who wants to play the game they paid for, regardless of how the single player has affected them.

A interesting thread. It's worth the time. Give it a look and maybe leave a comment.

Keep the good work up, people. See you tomorrow.

Sorry, was typing my thing before it was posted to not post about it here. Saw that after I hit submit and figured oh well :P Anyhoo, my bad, wasn't honestly even a discussion I was interested in having, but it seemed to be the only thing people were talking about.

Good night.

Respectfully, I kind of feel the same, Carnage. I think as long as things stay civil here, this thread is a good place as any other to talk about this leader debate or PAX or whatever.

My personal choice has been to abstain from MP as well as SP (not like I'm motivated to play SP anymore anyway) since finishing my first playthrough. That is how I feel I am holding the line.

I refuse to play it all...even before the ending. I shouldn't be forced to play multi-player--something i don't enjoy at all.

I don't really care all that much about all this leadership talk.
That being said, When Carnage tells us that we need to keep on a straight path on this thread
by taking our debates over things unrelated to this thread, he or she is telling us to focus.
By doing so, he/she is trying to appeal to reason, which is not necessarily something a leader would do.
Accusations or bickering between members should not be permitted in this movement,
for surely that is not our goal.
Not the last time I checked anyway, in our mission statement.

Please cool your jets, and come back to reasonably discussing the situation.

Hold the Line.

Haven't been able to play any video games without feeling immensely sad almost immediately.  So yes, I guess I'm inadvertantly boycotting the multiplayer?

It's a good idea, and those who are willing should continue to do so.  They are tracking the statistics involved, and if they take a hit, even though they don't acknowledge it, they feel it.

Our Choices Should Matter - Hold the Line

If they release Ending DLC ... I will happily fork out $10-15 .. AND I will buy ANY and ALL further DLC because what occurs in those DLC will actually have importance.

I'm sure a Massive Chunk of at least the 40k Likes on the RetakeMassEffect FB Group will be doing a very similar thing in that If there is no Ending DLC we will not buy ANY more DLC and probably barely or never play the game again. And keep our Faith in Bioware on a VERY SKEPTICAL level.

So Unless Creating Ending DLC is literally that Costly and Time Consuming then It's a WIN for Us. WIN for Bioware. WIN for EA.. I don't see what they have to lose Creating it. Anyone who enjoyed the Ending Can not buy the DLC and keep their Endings as is. So much Win for everyone.

I'm not in charge at all. People are avoiding this thread because of all the arguments on leadership. This thread isn't about leadership. So ya, there is a "we" factor into this. This isn't the time or place for these discussions.

This is my first post on the forum, and I just want to say that you all are making at least a small difference. I already bought ME3, so I can't exactly boycott it now, but I am a compulsive DLC buyer. I was planning on finally getting a chance to play the game this week, but having had the ending mildly spoiled for me, I think I might wait until it is fixed. Since I am waiting I also won't be buying the from ashes DLC that I was planning on getting, and I will be one less number playing the game on origin. That's 10$ that bioware is not getting until the ending is fixed. So thank you all for this movement. Without it I would've have spent the 10$ only to have my soul crushed. So thanks for saving me, and god knows how many more from playing the game in it's current state, I feel like you all are my personal marauder shields!

I dislike multiplayer, the only reason I pre-ordered the CE was the statement that MP would be optional and not necessary to get the best ending.Yeah, right, sure it's not.

Personally, I'm going to repost my review of the game (click my sigs if interested) every Monday until they announce they're working towards a new ending. I feel a bit weird re-posting, but this is my way of showing I'm not going to simply burn out my options every time they post a "we're listening" thread.

Yeah I am not playing either. Multiplayer is fine, but sometimes I want to just play SP and complete it without other people. What will happen in 1 year when nobody plays MP and there is no way to get readiness?
