The danger with trying to get a single leader is always faction building within the movement, attempts to define and organize things too strictly, disagreement with the way things are done despite agreement on the issue. Really I think it's good to have people with organizational skills setting stuff up like the donation drive, but trying to "pick" (an) official leader(s) has the potential to take focus away form what we're doing and create splinter groups, which is probably not helpful to the overall cause... but that's just my 2 cents worth.
Please take these discussions to the group or elsewhere. We don't want any more debates here please.
Carnage752, this is exactly what i mean, im not trying to be rude to you but you act like youre in charge here, and keep making statements that imply you have some authority. Don't make "we" statements when in reality youre making "I" statements. theres nothing wrong with talknig about things. You get into trouble when you start deciding that youhave some sort of official opinion. You arent in charge.
Again, you cant force a loosely organised group to do things your way. I'm sure youre just trying to help but i just want to let you know how youre coming acros to me.
I don't really care all that much about all this leadership talk.
That being said, When Carnage tells us that we need to keep on a straight path on this thread
by taking our debates over things unrelated to this thread, he or she is telling us to focus.
By doing so, he/she is trying to appeal to reason, which is not necessarily something a leader would do.
Accusations or bickering between members should not be permitted in this movement,
for surely that is not our goal.
Not the last time I checked anyway, in our mission statement.
Please cool your jets, and come back to reasonably discussing the situation.
Hold the Line.
