I'm not fighting with Carnage. I'm simply telling him he has been out of place two times now. He's taking this too far.
Even if he was joking, it was a mean statement that could have been taken the wrong way.

I do find it pretty weak to fold over something like a simple post on facebook. I just hoped I could expect better from everyone here. Am I wrong to do so?

Carnage, you're taking what I'm saying WAY out of context.
I am NOT folding over what was said on Facebook. Only that one guy was. I'm just saying what you said to him was mean and out of place. That on top of you ordering us not to talk about some things in this thread left a bad taste in my mouth. 

You are right though - we should not fold over that Facebook post. But as I said, it was that one guy. I am not folding. I'm still here, holding the line. Please understand that already.

Google bombing may be a viable tool.  It would have to be a concerted effort given just how large the corporations we're fighting against are.  In addition, it's not exactly the most above-board tactic, and might be looked down upon if the media does latch on to the story.  I've seen you posting here a lot, and it seems you have a good head on your shoulders, are you up to exploring the option more in-depth tomorrow?

If they're going to announce 'We're listening, but we aren't going to do **** about anything ever', couldn't they at least do it on a somewhat more classy medium than twitter?
I'd like to imagine that if they're going to announce a giant '**** you' to the fans, they could at least do it during PAX, with maybe a little song and dance to go along with it. I'm imagining something to the tune of 'So long and thanks for all the fish' - perhaps '**** you and thanks for all the cash'

I mean, it's obvious suicide of bioware's brand value. But if they're going to torch the franchise and run, they might as well go all the way.

Remember. NOTHING IS OFFICIAL until BioWare or EA comes out
and tells us point blank that there will never be a change.
These posts are not new, and as I said before, it is a testament to our gathering
that they took the posts down minutes after putting them up.

Stay in the Line, soldier.
Don't let a tweet and a fb post discourage you.
All of you both know this is a way to guage the situation.
Taking it down lets them deny the statement later, as to not get on anyone's bad side.
Too late, in my thoughts, but we will win this in the end.

This is not nearly the bad news people make it out to be.  This is nothing new.  It's been less than two weeks, that's not nearly enough time to make a decision addressing the ending.  Not to mention we're still waitng for the end of Q1.  

Bioware has nothing planned.  Yet.  Hold the line.

Until we get our demands met...until such a time as Bioware and EA realize they can't just crap all over their fanbase and claim art when the fans are outraged...

a google bomb is when you search for something then click a specific website in response to that search making it the "best answer" you picked. if enough people pick that answer it gets higher in the search results. thats how google works.

pretty much when you google anything to deal with mass effect they get you to see what they want you to see. its pretty lame. =edit= what i mean to say its lame when people use it for the wrong reasons. trust me nothing sucks more looking up something only to end up on some weird site that has NOTHING to do with what you were looking for =edit=

not official, got all removed too... trust me I use to say and do the same thing, its not official at all...don't buy into under level pr talk, because it HONESTLY is what it is at this point...it's deflect, redirect, misguide

language is picky think about exact words and double speek...overall that said nothing

naturally no they will not CHANGE how it is currently on the disk....

thats all it means

it means nothing about adding onto it, building past it etc it does not actually mention anything

the soul point is to do....well what people are doing about it now, talking, panicing, being shaken

we fought amoughst ourselves to come out stronger but before that we held the line
