Atghunter, whats your thought on the latest FB/Tweet comment mistake, and the quick reply afterwards "we still listen ect"?.

Not everything is a PR related thing...

It is, however, a mistake by their PR department. Something we can take advantage of to rally the troops. There is every possibility that Bioware was testing the waters and when they found that the fan reaction hadn't diminished, they quickly backtracked. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this out of hand, though in the end it is what we all make of it on an individual basis.

I'd reeally like to know what people at Bethesda, think about out all of this. Other than the obvious:"Jee boys, Skyrim might be getting a pump in sales shortly".

PR = Public Relations.

Everything BioWare says is PR.

I think there's a lot of selective acknowledgment and ignoring going on, on both 'sides'. And as much as I might agree that the endings are for the most part unsatisfying and feel imcomplete, I can't get behind a 'movement' like this.

Ugh, back from sick leave to hold the line. (Seriously, body? St Patrick's? You do this to me on "Go pub crawling and make fun of all the green beer drinkers while I have another Smithwicks" day? That's just cruel.)

The Facebook post says nothing and a whole lot at the same time. Not only have they acknowledged that people aren't happy, they've specifically had to say we don't like the ending. They just keep giving us opportunities to hammer home that we will not be supporting their products anymore if they don't fix this catastrophe. Judging by my game collection I can boycott EA just as easily as Bioware. Haven't bought anything non-Bioware from them since The Sims 2 line wrapped up.

Statement forthcoming Wednesday? Did we hear this from Jessica? I'm guessing it will be more PR doubletalk unless they're going to do a 180 from the Facebook post within two days. That I can deal with. If, however, it's an official announcement that there will be no fix-it DLC ever it will be time for me to trade in my ME3 CE for a refurbed PS2 and Persona 3. Now that's how you do an ambiguous, bittersweet ending, Bioware.

I do hope we don't give that impression. I definitely have acknowledged some people will, and do, enjoy the ending. Polls and such though have proved that the majority do not. If a DLC ending is created, people who like the previous ending can keep it, people who want their choices to matter can have that too. It's a win-win.

If you have any questions concerning the movement, are on either side of the fence and just want to question my viewpoint, feel free.

We don't trust them because they have lied to us and are still lying to us. They can only get our trust back with actions not twitter and facebook posts. Thank you for sticking with this to the end people.

Hold the line for as long as it takes people.

Wait, there's a statement coming Wednesday? Is there some official source for this or is it just a rumour?

Off topic, but enjoy Persona 3! It's a wonderful game. I'm thinking about replaying my Persona 3 psp port one of days myself. Or maybe the P2 IS port. Haven't decided yet.

Well, Monday came (at least for me) and it's been 4 days since I finished the game. Most people here finished much earlier, and it's incredible that the movement is only gaining power, not losing it. I have to say, it's not easy to keep up the energy of how I felt right after I saw the ending, and it would be a lot easier to hold the line if we had a specific task to finish, not just waited for BioWare's response and spread the message. But after the initial anger is gone for me, resolve stays, and it stays strong.
So good work, everyone, and stay strong.
Hold the line!

Haha. The funny thing is that I already have Skyrim, but this whole debacle has driven me back to it. I honestly preferred ME over Skyrim any day of the week but...now it's the complete opposite.

(Methinks that's a solid slogan, no? Good job...uh...the one who keeps adding that to the end of their posts. So...many...people...)

Well stated.

It's been over a week for me now, and while my rage has dissapated, my disapointment and frustration has not.

It's been over a week for me as well. And the longer this goes on, not only do I see it grow stronger, but the more I'm personally involved as well.

I like to think that no one person designed the slogan. It is what we collectively think. Every single person who uses that slogan created it because they came to that conclusion.

So... good job creating that slogan. :wizard:

Holding the line in Europe.

Haven't played SP or MP since I finished it. Decided against buying another CE - which was gonna go to my gf. Talked two people out of buying the game.

Same here, it's been over a week for me too, and if anything, I'm MORE committed now to getting a change than I was then. I guess the shock wore off. Keep up pressure, hold the line! We will get a response.

As Captain Sisko one said:We will Fight and we will keep on fighting until we can't fight any more. And that is going to be a lot longer then Bioware can fight. They need us we do not need them. Stick together and we will win.

I know its been talked about a bit; but Atghunter's thoughts on this would be very incredible.

People that are starting to loose heart; don't. BW/EA are scared - and every right to be. What happened there was possibly one of the worst blunders they could of done along with one of the best things for us.

Some people were starting to get dishearted by the double talk; lack of talk - That's exactly why they are doing it. Problem is - they just renewed resolve for most - and gave inshot for many; many more.

We're growing - we will continue to grow. We are making history here - Like our Shepards - Gamers of all ages - from all over the world - are uniting as one. Not out of hate - but out of Love for these games.....and what BW was - the goto RPG company.

I don't mind them wanting to expand their sales - but its your loyal fans that been with you from the beginning that keep you alive as a company. Please remember that.
