Someone mentioned how members of the movement are being characterized. Would it help to get some quick demographic info on people - like age, sex, profession, with / without children - just to show that we aren't all 15 y.o. fanboys as we are being depicted?

Hold the line, guys and gals!

Let me help you out.

All ages.
Both sexes.
A wide variety of profressions.
Both with and without children.

Being a gamer is no different than being a sports fan. It's a hobby that anyone can get in on and enjoy.

I don't like the endings as much as the next guy, but things are getting a little out of hand.

I wouldn't worry. "Out of hand" is when things are loosing structure and people stop being civilized, no longer give any constructive critisism. I feel what is going on now is rather much the opposite of "out of hand/control". Imo, we are simply holding the line in wait for an official confirmation that our goals will be met.

I actually think this is a good idea.
You can be in charge of making an official poll.

Make sure you include age, sex, and level of education.
*the last bit is to show not all of us haven't finished high school.
**no offense.

In all seriousness.
Good idea.

Whatever happened to the codex bit about...klencoran maybe?...anyway, one of the planets that had a crater. The assumption was that a previous civilization figured out how to turn the relays into giant rail guns? Anyone?

Yeah but sports fans are more likely to take their discontent to the streets. So why are gamers and nerds the social outcasts again?

*Most sports fans are not violent/destructive of course, but it's unfair that we get stereotyped based on an unpleasant vocal minority when sports fans have a far more unpleasant vocal minority.

my understanding of that is they made a mass driver type weapon.  you can take the principles of an idea at orders of lesser magitude.  I could build a potato gun on the principles of a bazooka after all.

I've been thinking and I've come over a replay tweet from the ME3 twitter thingy.

"@rigormortis_uk More than two weeks, that's for sure. A lot of people haven't even completed the game yet."

Now considering Pax is coming up very soon, it could be a possibility they are silent because they intend to answer during Pax, it would be a ideal time when most of the gaming industry has their eyes on them.
Of course they could simply remain silent then aswell but it'll be interesting to see what happens.

In anycase we'll just keep the pressure up by spreading the word on why we do this, one tip might to angle our reason into being consumers who aren't satisfied with a part of a product, rather then gamers not satisfied with a videogame. It'll be something everybody can relate to as everybody have at one or several times bought a product they weren't satisfied with and wanted the consumer to fix.

It is unfair, but I prefer to engage in more polite discussions and lead by example, rather than argue right against it. The greatest insult to an insulting voice is to completely ignore it.

"We are getting plenty of feedback from people who love the ending and consider the thought of changing it an affront, as well."

Really, I haven't heard that much. And even still, they can have their endings, we can have ours, win-win in my book.

Has anyone given thought to what might happen after this debacle is resolved?

I would guess if the campaign "fails" everyone will just go their separate ways, but should there actually be ending DLC then there will be an infrastructure built which could potentially be turned to other things.

Another gaming website (an unbiased one), or some kind of BioWare fan site perhaps.
