Needs a lot of work, but that can come. Right now, change the title picture. It's... bad. And also, Mass Effect 2.

Ok folks - keep the pressure on; the letters - tweets; keep asking for answers...

Get the word out - talk with news - something we haven't thought of Getting ahold of consumer reports on this with all the promises right up before the release and then - being lied too.....

Get friends that have the game - get them to write; even if they like the ending; if they say the support us in our choice also looks damn good.......Almost better than just us saying we dislike the ending. If we can get a lot of people that say they like it; but support us in our cause would be massive.

I'm signing out for the night -

The ones at the bottom have the URL underneath the description, but I'll be fixing that tomorrow to match the others.

Do you think embedding the banners I made is OK? (they are so small), or should I link them too just to be safe?

Hello everyone.

This is the first time I've ever posted on this forum, in fact my account and its ridiculous username were created just so that I could download my cerberus network DLC when I bought ME2. I apologize if I detract from the conversation in this thread by shoving this little anecdote in here, but I just wanted to pop in and tell you what a fantastic thing that I think it is you all are doing. I finished ME3 several nights ago and it left me in a state of dismay. Not because its ending was bad, but because it rank of wasted potential. In the past few nights I've discovered this forum, I've found that you all have managed to create such a fuss that now if you type "Mass Effect 3" into google the first thing that pops up is a news article on how you all are petitioning Bioware for a better ending. That combined with the charity which has raised 74K is absolutely remarkable, so I hope that Bioware responds to your demands in a timely manner. I really don't have any friends that play Mass Effect, but I'll tell the ones who do to "Hold the Line!" Thank you all, and good luck!

BioWare, at this point, is delaying the inevitable. It really seems the more they stay silent, the more likely they are considering making post-ending DLC.

Hold the line people!

The OP is great advice and information. I still am trying to take it all in. but we do need to Hold The Line if we want EA/BW to hear us and believe us. Stop playing on Origin. Big Brother is watching. Play offline or don't play ME3 at all so that they can not only hear our voice, but see in our actions that we really mean it.

I'm pretty new here, post wise. Just before launch I would come to these forums to see the latest news, I was so excited for this game. I started seeing topics and posts about how bad the endings are. It seemed like there were sooo many negative things to say in general, this just wasn't a pleasant place to be for me. Either way I wasn't going to believe it just like that, had to play it myself.

O, the disappointment. I've chipped in to RME3, will do so again when I can. A friend and I were sharing sentiments, and it made me realize how much this resembles a war, even the ME3 war, lol.
Thanks to ATG for the insider perspective. Kinda icky but that's why it's behind curtains I suppose~

I think it isn't only the thing of PR.
In my opinion the storywriters, producers etc, going through the five stages of grief.

1-Denial: Why? it is a good ending
2-Anger: They are all wrong. They don't understand.
3-Bargaining: Please give us time. We concern your worries
4-Depression: OMG so many don't like it. We screwed up.
5-Acceptance. ok let's work something out

That's kind of appropriate because I went through:

1-Shock: What in the hell was that?
2-Depression: I can't believe it ended like that....
3-Rationalization: Was the ending really that bad?
4-Realization: Yes it really was that bad.
5-Anger: I can't believe someone actually thought this ending was a good idea!

Eh,well summed up, kind of exactly what i went through. For a moment even i tried rationalizing if the ending was that bad and indeed it truly TRULY was.

Hold the Line.

I signed up for an account just to throw in my support. Like many others, I thought the game was fantastic as I played through, a masterpiece of modern videogaming that tugged at all of my emotions with each little vignette of my favorite digital comrades, both past and present. I went into the final battle expecting my hours upon hours of game play and arduous choices to play out in some grand battle and wrap up what would have been a defining sci-fi trilogy for this generation.

Instead, as I progressed through the final moments of my journey, and instead of getting feelings of exhilaration and satisfaction I found confusion and disappointment. After seeing my ending (green was my flavor), I was so confused that I actually thought that I had done something wrong, made a wrong choice somewhere, or maybe didnt collect enough war assets to earn me the best ending possible, just to find out that none of it mattered and the only "best possible" ending is to let our good friend Marauder Shields end Shepard and save us all.

I was very happy to find out that I wasn't the only one this upset by the ending and while I've resigned myself that there may be no better ending provided by BW, my own imagination (and that fantastic "Animal House" youtube vid) has provided me with a fitting end to Shepard's mission. But hope springs eternal, which is why I proudly join this amazing movement you all have created here and wish to say:

Hold the Line.

I can relate to that, since i have only lurked BW forums (old and new ojnes ) for years till they didn't utterly destroyed DA with DA II.

At that point , i have felt that i need to speak up.However didn't hope that they going to make another mess after first debacle but here we are ...

Same again i have played a lot of bioware games but i never posted before after what they did with Dragon age 2 Mass effect 3 was the last straw for me.

I felt the same way and I signed up for the forums for the same reason you did. I really thought I did something wrong. Hence the reason I replayed the last 20 minutes 3 time picking a different color each time. In retrospect it may have been better if I went to youtube.

There is no detraction in this.  We have all felt how you feel, some are still feeling it, more will feel it in the future as they finish the game.  Welcome to the BSN, and to the Line, I hope that you find solace in our cause and just how adamant everyone is that the Mass Effect universe deserved a better ending than it got.  If you have time and are willing, I have a couple suggestions:

Like the facebook group here: www.facebook.com/DemandABetterEndingToMassEffect3
Donate to Child's Play in support of the cause: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/9845819/1

As well, head out into the BSN, get to know the scene and lend your voice to the line.  Keep it civil when you come on detractors of our movement, don't let them shake your resolve.  You are now part of Retake Mass Effect, and we will hold the line.

Our Choices Should Matter - Hold the Line

Please hold the line people and don't expect and hope from Pax. i believe that public place to announce that they will never change the ending because they think if they do that we will think they can't be moved and give up When they do that continue to hold the line because it will mean that while they are pretending to be strong they really have nothing left and are just trying to take us down before they have to cave. My gut tells me that if we hold on after pax it will not be more then a month at most before they have to give us new endings. So please hold on and if Pax turns out to be a let down don't give up. The game's price has fallen and lot of stores are letting people return their copies,we are winning but over the next month or so Bioware is going to do everything in their power to make us think we are losing. Please don't fall for it and continue to hold the line no matter what is said or how long it takes. Good night all.

As for PAX, they have an opportunity. If they decide to issue the statement we're waiting for, then good. If by chance they don't then what? Whatever they decide what will our reaction be?

My suggestion -- tell everyone who wants to be there in protest to be polite, civil, and request to ask a question of the panel.  Make sure that question is 'what are you going to do about the ending.'

If they refuse to acknowledge the issue or refuse to give an answer, have EVERYONE who is part of the protest simple get up and walk out, en masse.  Don't boo.  Don't get angry.  Just leave in total silence.

That is an amazing idea. Not to mention the fact that bioware might take us seriously when most of the crowd leaves. It would be a powerful statement right to the people in charge of this fiasco's face.

I don't post much outside of BSN these days - how are the polls looking on other websites? IGN's latest poll indicated overwhelming displeasure towards ME3's endings, but that is only one site out of many.

Anyone here vote in a poll outside of IGN and BSN? IF so, what were the results?
