Okay, I've written out the address correctly I assume, but what's the "T6H 5R7"? Is that the post code or something?

yes, it's their postal code, ranging from T5A to T6Z (wikipedia says so).

Does it go in the corner of the envelope then? My father has recommend I write a civil letter explaining why I am doing this, he did extremely good in business in his youth, and I am going to take his advice. Is there anything specific I should mention?

In NA we just write out our addresses line for line, stacked one on top of the other. In Canada, it's:

Name (company name or personal)
Street address
City, Province
Country, postal code

We don't put anything from the destination address in the corners of envelopes or on the back (I know France does this), our post people like everything nice and tidy in one spot. In the US the stamp goes on the upper right corner, but I think that's universal. Return addresses usually go in the upper left. (I'd assume the same is true for Canada since their format is similar to ours) Just don't make the postman go hunting for info and you'll be fine. Lol.

So after almost two weeks no response (don't count those saying "nothing").
Dear BioWare/EA, there are other amazing companies making great games and also talking to community (CD Project - Witcher, etc).

You have to see it from their side of view. We are asking for them to give us a complete ending which takes alot of effort and time, but then we want a progress update every day, which is unreasonable if they are working their arses off trying to rectify this problem. I think they are doing a good job all things considering and naturally people who are displease with the ending may tend to pick at other parts of the game.

P.S I say MAY pick at other parts of the game, does not apply to everyone.

PS I'm glad to hear so many people who are moving from the 90 to the 9. Will check BSN registrations and our Facebook PTAT :)

What ??

I did not understand... Posted Image

What Jessica is saying is that she has taken note of the apparent trend that this issue has caused many community members to "delurk", in other words move from being passive consumers of the game to active debaters of its level of quality. It is a very good sign that she takes note of this and intends to analyze the related statistics. I think she will find the results rather mind-boggling.

Not only did I move from the 90% to the 9% but I've been lurking on this forum (on and off, generally stopping in after a new release) since DA:O came out! I never registered because whenever I read the threads there was always someone who'd already said pretty much what I was planning to and usually more eloquently. I only registered now, because I felt this was too important not to speak up.

I understand that it will take time to debate and then create an alternate ending if there is to be one. What I'd is someone to officially say, "we are currently discussing the logistics of creating an alternate ending and will be spending the next x many months examining the feasibility of this. Please be patient. Meanwhile continue to provide ideas and feedback in the forums"

If they could give as a time frame on how long it might take them to make a decision, that alone would help me be patient. I honestly don't expect anything before the end of the year at the earliest...(unless they already have something). But I have no clue how long it take to design or program anything.

You could explain how as a fan you feel betrayed, as a customer you feel lied to and as a person you feel let down.

Or something.

Jessicacs post is fine and I appreciate the time she spent to reply. But i'd love to know why she doesn't agree with the end goal of "retake mass effect" beyond supporting her fellow colleagues. How can changing it not be a good thing considering the obvious huge plotholes and there only being 3 similar endings counter to what was promised as little as 2 months ago?

Simply put, it's not her job. She's neither QA nor a writer, she is community manager. Her job is to find out what WE think, and deliver that information to her employers, not to tell everyone what her personal opinion about any aspect of the game is.

Morning/Afternoon.

I wish i could say that I was taking a break from my reports to come on here but the truth is ive been busy trying to catch up on all the posts! So I should probably finish my work but wanted to report in to the line!

Anyways it was encouraging hearfrom Jessica, who if your reading this; thanks for your post. Its all to easy I guess to forget that the developers and even our fellow gamers who like the endings are just that; fellow gamers/enthusiasts/humans. And constantly putting anything said under a microscope can often cause the speaker to not want to say anything ever again, which is why we need to just be a little more tactful when someone like Jessica posts for us because constant second guessing can sometimes backfire.

EIther way, again Jessica, I am one of the people who lurked untill the ending of Mass Effect 3, after 2 years of holding my account here I first started posting mostly to share dissapointment. But dissapointment does not = dislike (like many other people just assume), the passion, thought and views on here are because we genuinely care about the game & franchise. And also the way I see it as responsible fans we NEED to let the team know when we dont think something has worked or when we think they could do better, because if we dont then how do they know where they need to try harder and improve? We all get feedback at work (wheter we want it or not sometimes) and its both positive and negative, on a personal note if i do something wrong I want to hear about it so I dont do it again! But thats just me but im sure im not alone!

As i said these last few days have been my first outing into this community and Im mostly impressed with the way everyone has been behaving, for a first timer thats when impressions count. Your post Jessica is inspiring as it at least shows there is someone there and you hit another crucial point which i will get into in a minute, but just know this I am immensly proud of everyone in this thread and the movement because for at least this little part of the internet, civility and manners are the norm. /pat-on-back for all of you.

FInally, again for Jessica (I'll shut up after this next bit honest), you mentioned the whole issue of sites that have been casting "fandom" in a bad light, yes they have some have been particulary abhorrent in their treatment of us, mentioning no names. It pleases me that this kind of thing does not hold favour with you either, and whatever the result of the movement and Biowares decision one thing i will take away from all of this is that I cannot trust large parts of the gaming media writers/sites ever again for me their reputation and credibility has been forever tarnished in my eyes. And if that comes out being the only casualty in this whole affair then to be honest I would be more than happy with that.

Thanks for reading this.

Again, proud to be with you all.

Hold the line.

Reading through the more educated and older BSNer's posts, the ones posted on the OP, and they make extremely compelling arguments. It's nice to have them on our side, we have a better chance of pulling through, so thank you. :)

Guys I know that since this sort of thing takes a few months and the company is either going to say nothing or come right out publicly say that we don't matter and they are not going to change anything it is easy to lose hope but before you give up please look at this.

http://en.wikipedia....entium_FDIV_bug

Remember that was in the early days of the internet and Intel is a much larger company then bioware. If we hold the line no matter how long it takes or what Bioware says we will win in the end.  Just stick together and don't lose hope.

Hold the line for as long as it takes people.

You wouldn't believe what this has driven me back to....MAPLESTORY!
Yup! The game managed by a company that slaps its gamers with bad customer service and gamers in turn slap them back with wads of cash. I am in no way suggesting BioWare is even remotely close to the aforementioned company in its customer response, quite the contrary, as evidenced by Miss Merizan, but at least they do provide content that can be enjoyed from start to finish

They are waiting and collecting data to see wether it is best damage limitation to follow with the original plan for a post-indoctrination DLC ending or just make up new stuff.

I know how you feel about the face, believe me.  I have played one (1) of my multiple Shepard's (whose face worked), started a second and gave up knowing how it would end -- but the point is, I too want that insane face import issue fixed.

I hope that will come in a patch, soon, but I know it takes times for these things to be done, from finding it and fixing it to getting the testing and stamp of approval.  Yes, they should have done it before release, dang it, but for now my faith is with them to fix it.  In a month, not so much...

Meanwhile, back on topic, from the silent lurker (the 90's (90% of users) to at least the 9'ers), I am here and I am holding the line. :)

But dang, BioWare, do not keep silent for too long or you will lose more than one customer on my end...  I don't want that, you don't want that, so, please, keep us in the loop, all right?

The guys in here aren't hearing about it because all the face import guys are trying to avoid spoilers. I've given up on caring about spoilers.
