I'm feeling pretty down after reading this. I knew that PR has BIG plays, but never knew THIS BIG. Yet I still believe, that they aren't that dumb, to let one of their biggest franchise ever down along with it's fans. I still have hope. I will hold the line. You shall too!
Sorry for my English :)

It's like back when script leaked and people who read it start to complain how non-sense is it.
Then Bioware come out and told that they listen to feedback and change the script.

Well, I think people who read it know the rest...

Wow, very interesting to read. You can easily forget that you're dealing with a company, not with individuals.

I would wish for a more personal level of communication between the fans and the developers. :/

never have I seen the rage I am seeing here on these forums and for once it's warranted, I personally invested 100 plus hours on this series and the pay off EA have given us is appalling. Well done aghunter for keeping the tempo. I will not be buying any more games from EA if that means I miss out in the future so be it they don't deserve my money if they are prepared to pull this type of stunt.

They still fooling themselves. They are trying to change the past.
They want to re-write history, so the outcome is beneficial to them.

As atghunter said it's outdated strategy that doesn't work today.

The fact is that no matter how they believe they rewrote history, customers still disappointed with the ending. No matter how they convince themselves that was intended and right, it leaves us with the sensation that playing any extra content is POINTLESS.

And that will, no matter their effort, reflect in the launch of DLC and projected revenues.
They already had to lower the price, give free time, etc and this problem is not going away.

As I am persistently saying is easier for Executives to replace their directors than their customers. And Casey believing he can hold his position will have him only being overcome with opposing forces and falling. It's time to be smart and retreat, preserving MOST of what he have.Holding position will cost more than he is thinking.

This is an excellent analysis by atghunter. I love how this movement is going so large that we are drawing these type of intelligent and experienced people to the cause. With people like him, as well as backup from reputable sources like Forbes, it becomes harder and harder for Bioware to dismiss this huge movement as just "some angry fans."

i never liked this whole PR-business (no offense atghunter ;) )

if a produkt is good then its good, if its bad then make it good... but dont tell me a bad produkt is actually good...

i know, that the world doesnt work that way, but would be nice wouldnt it...

Assuming all of this is true (And I believe it is), they will say that the weekend event was a success regardless of actual outcome. Unfortunately, there's no way for us to know for sure.
