You know, I think BioWares PR policy is just about the worst thing they could do.

They have half the people on here taking this as a war, there are current or former millitary personnel giving combat advice, is this what BioWare want.

Their customers are fighting them, no matter what that is never going to be good. So any BioWare employees who are reading this, talk to your bosses, make them see some sence and have someone who can actaully affect this problem come out and talk to your community because, with all respect to the moderaters, that cant do anything to change the game and they are totally beseiged.

I agree. If people are really devoted, dont just write "bump" or "hold the line!" and think that your mission is complete, that you contributed. Stop playing MP/SP, turn off origin

It only gets a little better if you realize that 3.5 million copies shipped is only about 1.5 million sold.

That only works out to about 10 hours per copy.  Still not anything special.  Compare that with the numbers that the newest Call of Duty game gets....

More stats:
... 618000 multiplayers
... 1800yrs/618000 = ~25 hrs/player
... and thats across 2 weeks

Hmm reading this topic makes me think (I'll borrow KeldorKatarn's metaphor ) we're getting a bit more organized rebels - not only we have tactician (atghunter - well he reads out "enemy's" intends), but drill sarge that can motivate - KeldorKatarn.
Bioware - we're waiting for what we want most: good ending to a story; we even give you our thoughts on how to repair it, so please don't waste them. This is only solution to our "uprising".

Holding the line.

PS. I absolutely love "If EA instructs the writers and developers to write an ending with pink ponies and chocolate bars falling from the sky, that’s what will happen." - pure gold

Considering people actually played the MP because of the Galactic Readiness stuff, I think these numbers will be quite different in the end.

The game was going to sell well in the opening and in the playing times. If they issue is not resolved, just look back to the numbers after , say, 3-4 weeks. Then we will see the impact of the movement.

So the question is, how do we get it so that when people search for "Mass Effect 3" (or maybe just Mass Effect) in Google that they will get directed to the following...

www.facebook.com/DemandABetterEndingToMassEffect3

That would be nice.

As much as I hate the ending, and believe me I do, I won't be the fan that dehumanizes the developers. I joined the fight being civil, but I won't support any kind of movement that treats the same guys that brought us the other 99% of the game we loved like crap. They probably have to calculate their every word that gets out there in order to come out the best way possible, buy you guys are doing the same.

Every time some one comes out saying something mild, some of you step in saying something demeaning. Standing to your idea doesn't have to get messy. It's not like the whole game sucks. They are starting to respond and acknowledge. however vague, at least acknowledge that and let's move on from there.

There's nothing that I hate more than being called by the media entitled, raging fan, or childish. As such, I wont be a hypocrite. I wan't a better ending for Mass Effect, but not at the price of my principles.

Keep civil you guys.

Edit: spelling

I can't wait until they start announcing what a huge success this multiplayer reaper weekend was. The underlying message will be, "See? None of this is making any difference. We're BREAKING RECORDS with player involvement in the game!"

It is definately smoke and mirrors, that much is certain.  Twenty-five hours or so between two weeks is not very much our of the 336 or so hours in a that two week span.

I'd love to play MP right now, I won't.

I'm being forced by bioware to stop playing anything from them. Well, not really forced, but I can't stand playing something I'm not satisfyied with.

We are many, and we will be rewarded.

To be fair, it's not like the fans bought the game for the multiplayer. Give credit where credit is due. Most of us thought that the MP was going to suck balls. I find it enjoyable, however painful it is to open ME3 and watch the intro...

I believe they have to key word the page for search  tags. I'm not an expert on that though.
Also when you search term in google if you search term "bad ending mass effect 3" rather than "mass effect 3" it can theoretically bump I believe.

We as customers have every right to demand a better ending. Its like selling an incomplete game to your fans. This is simply unacceptable and we should stay strong until we get what we want, ignoring all their delay/deflect tactics.

Hold the line, stop playing MP/SP until we get proper answers

I will give credit where credit is due.  It is pretty fun and much better than I imagined.  It is also tied directly into the Single player (I am sure it is impossible to get 5000 TMS without Multiplayer) as I predicted it would be.

Yeah, it may be fun.  But it is also a liability....

Awesome post is awesome.

It's so good to have some anti-PR tactics on our side.
It will fit very nicely into the crucible ;)
