The video in the article is gold, too.  Really informative and can help us further the Take Back movement.

To have an effect you need to hurt the profits, but how can you hurt BioWare, you have bought the game already.
1) Unsubscribe to The Old Republic. Lucas Arts wont like it, and they are big enough to pull strings all by them selfs. BioWare/Lucas Arts spent alot of money of that game they wont let it be hurt by this.

2) Boycot EA games, the other developers will have to get involved, it will start to hurt them, and EA will need to act, if they dont they will loose developers to other game houses. This may seem unfair to other developers, and it is, but the more insentive for EA/BioWare the better chances this is fixed.

3) Stop others from buying the game untill the problem is fixed, tell them to wait, )dont say is c**p, its not, so be fair)

4) Make as much noise as possable, in national media start to talk about this then BioWare/EA will have to act to shut it down.

Edit: Also, this is the stick, they still need the carrot. That we love the game, we love their hard work, we love the story and want to keep supporting them, thats just as improtant. If they feel they have already lost us as customers then where is the insentive to fix it.

Love seeing the coverage in Forbes.

BioWare, if you're reading this, making things right with the ending is the best thing you can do, both as artists and as a business. If you do the right thing, all this passion that so many of us are putting forth will be behind you, supporting you. You can't buy that kind of consumer good will, and it's more valuable than anything else. If you need to answer to EA to justify a new ending, point them towards the profits that come with having a hardcore fanbase who believes in the company. If you make this right, it's a win-win-win.

If you remember back when Call of Dutyu: Black Ops came out, people boycotted due to it not having dedicated servers. And most of the people who boycotted could be seen playing that very game. Boycotting all of EA is spreading ourselves too thin and we won't be able to stop someone from buying the new SSX or something. I say we just focus on Bioware. Show EA that we can have a dedicated effort.

Spreading ourselves out too much will not work because people don't have as much willpower as they like to think they do. It's unfortunate but true. So hold the line, donate to Child's Play, don't play Mass Effect online, and don't give in to empty promises.

I must admit that I am not as passionate as others on here have been. My playing the ME series was done on a bet (which I won, btw). I have enjoyed the series and appreciated the great story-telling. I also am inclinced to agree that ME3 has the potential to be the best of the series. Writing was fantastic and character-development outstanding. But having people I know and care about feel so passionate about the truly bad ending of the game and the series, hearing their opinion and then seeking information from other well-constructed, civil and intelligent posts has converted me into a member of the Alliance. I support you, I support Take Back ME - Child's Play and I will hold the line with you. I am a consumer that was above the fray but has been galvanized by others to join their cause and support them however this turns out. Good luck and continue to hold the line.

Does anyone feel like ATGHunter is retake Mass Effects Commander Shepard? and That retake Mass Effect is Earth? and that EA are the reapers?

And that our letter campaign is the catalyst?

Are we picking red, green, or blue?

Well, I don't want to CONTROL EA.

I don't want to become an employee.

so red.

We should probably pick the 4th option that wasn't included in ME3... HOLD THE LINE!!!

I find it kind of amusing that at the same time Tim Schafer's Double Fine and Brian Fargo's InXile are managing to get their dream projects fundend by banking solely on old customer goodwill, EA is letting this keep growing and growing. I mean, those are two great examples of what loyal customers can do for you if you treat them right.

Ps. If you want to see a nice/funny portrayal of developer/publisher interactions you should check the video in Fargo's Kickstarer page: http://www.kickstart...ile/wasteland-2.

Being here and supporting the movement is good.  Maybe head to Facebook and comment/like the Demand a better ending to Mass Effect group (nearing 36k likes).  Head on out into the greater internet and comment on and engage in the articles at places like Forbes so that they stay higher on the Google searches people are doing when they're curious about wtf is going on over here.

Wow boycotting the Operation Goliath because of the endings. I love when people make a giant deal about something that isn't all important to life but when its a life changing ordeal people ignore it. Why can't you people just be satisfied that they gave you this game and quit being giant babies.

That's great!  Is there anything in particular you didn't like about the Retake Mass Effect 3 movement?
