Its a scripted sequence, not supposed to be able to kill her before the roof scene.

im at the roof scene... i think its because my weps are too strong and she would be killed... (2 paladins/one widow leaves her with one bar).

btw, its ng+, i knew about the scripted scene

I tried to kill her with the Scorpion and the delayed explosions never registered. She took no damage from all 3 bolts, then walked right up and stabbed me. Had to reload an earlier save I made at the weapon rack and select a standard pistol in order to get past that scripted sequence.

I'm pretty sure it's a bug.

Happened to me too...shot her in the head like 4 times, and nothing happened...then I aimed for her chest, and she "died". So Pro tip: Aim for the chest

I always shot her in the head, and she died just fine for me. Must have been a bug if she didn't.

And yes, this worked on insanity.

it doesnt. NG+ it gives you whatever pistol you have (it may if you arent carrying a pistol) but think she is scripted to "die" at 3 bars, since thats what happened when i restated and left the pred on. the widow and paladin i was carring left her w/one

It's scripted based on the number of hits landed on her. I actually did it in two Shotgun blasts at nearly point blank range.

I messed up and had a widow equipped and an unloaded pistol in my hand. When the scene began I had time to either reload and fire two pistol shots, then die, or switch to the Widow, get off one shot, and die. No matter how I did it, I was dead. I had to restart the mission.

To play it safe, I equipped every weapon I could and made sure they were all loaded before I got to the scripted chase scene the second time. I took no chances!

The easiest way to avoid the bug is to just swap out your pistol for the Predator at some point in the level. There are multiple opportunities to do so.

I had this one with the Scorpion. I was also able to use abilities, so I tagged her with an inferno. Even though I ended up having to reload from an earlier save, it was somewhat hilarious to watch her twitch in the place she spawns while grenades explode and she burns before suddenly being right next to Shepard as her head CONTINUES exploding from grenades.

I had this issue as well. Not sure what caused. Ive done the scene like 20 times 19 of them had no issue. The last time i did it, my gun would actually go on cooldown, like it was a power.

So instead of popping off a couple quick shots to kill the eve, id shoot, the get a cooldown timer resulting in her getting to me before i could fire again. if i was lucky i could get two in.

Im not sure if it was caused by the weapon power i had selected, the weapon, or perhaps a glitch with skipping the scene. but it sucks.

 Soldiers can do this with the Paladin if they use Adrenaline Rush. Gives you just barely enough time.

Yeah, I "caught" her at the ladder once.

This is one of those instances where a game makes you think you're in some sort of struggle, but it's made to appear that way. You can walk there as slowly as you want and she'll still be just out of reach, waiting around corners for you before moving on.

Anyway, the thing with her not dying is weird. Is it a game-ender, or does it just play out differently?

I've seen someone mention that ammo powers screw it up. Haven't tested that myself but if you're playing one of the combat classes, might want to try dropping any ammo powers on your pistol in addition to reloading before the scene starts, and see if that helps.

I think i got defaulted on the predator cause i was only carrying a Valiant V

i LOL every time i run after her through that complex. i spam throw at her even tho it doesnt do anything.

its just funny to me, im not really sure why. i think its the way she runs.
