Simple question I hope. I think the title says it all.
I'm trying to cleaning test some permutations of script changes, but it's getting old waiting on the toolset to start up each time.
Other option would be: is there a command line tool to compile scripts?
thanks
can you safely run the game while the toolset is running?

well I generally keep mine open, but only after I've made the changes I wanted and exported and the whole bit. I've run both at the same time but never left anything "undone" so to speak

Something really weird occured to me right after posting this question.
I mean really really weird. I bet no one would EVER have thought of doing this, but....
I decided to just *gasp* test this for myself. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Actually I don;t know why I never just tried it myself. I kept assuming it would be a bad thing.
But I too saw what the lion there reports. It seems to be ok to leave the toolset running.
So unless a BW rep knows of any times where this could cause problems I guess this post has basically been answer.
