Invalid. Just because Bioware doesn't have an immediate resolution to everyone's whining and complaining, doesn't mean they won't have one.

I've complained to EA about ME3 being unacceptable as it is NOT what was advertised and NOT what I paid for. If they had accurately described what they would do with ME3 I would NEVER have purchased it.
EA games agrees to exchange Mass Effect 3 for a different game of equal value. No refund BUT you can get a replacement - preferably NOT a Bioware title.
More victory!

Yes, if it turns out the book that was advertised, the book that was repeatedly promised, was NOT what was actually delivered. Absolutely. If I expected an action/adventure book and it mostly goes that way until the very end when i suddenly gets into some weird fantasy nonsense totally at odds with the story prior AND at odds with what was promised? Hell yes I send it back. In any case, this isn't a book. It is a game that SHOULD have had a lot of replay value in it just like the prior titles. It doesn't have ANY replay value at all. It's garbage.
In any case, it's done. I've secured my REPLACEMENT for ME3 (Modern Warfare: Warfighter). Bioware loses.

Yep. See, there's NO WAY I'm going with another Bioware title. Screw them. Also, it is nearly impossible for Moden Warfare type games to get dicked up. They would really have to stretch to bork that sort of game. It is a safe replacement that wont suck the life out of my desire to play.

I've paid the same amount of money for far less quality games. This whole Bioware bashing is getting old. Amazon is stupid to give refunds so easily. And the fact that the US have a 30 day refund period for something like video games just explains why they are in a economic crysis.
Don't get me wrong, great for customers looking to exploit the system, bad for business'.
This. Pretty every game you can buy for that amount of money has less quality with maybe very few exceptions.
And I have bought and played a whole lot of games, I began playing computer games in the 90's.
In our country you can't get a refund for already opened and used software - and that is how it should be.
Playing a game and returning it because you didn't like the last 15 minutes or didn't get to see Mirandas ass as often as you had liked is just nothing better than software pirating.

This may end up as a double post...seems to be a forum glitch.
Yes, the replacement game is totally different than ME3. I don't play RPG as a rule because they are almost invariably wizards and warrior, sword and sorcery crap. I HATE that crap. Done to death. The ONLY RPG I've ever played and replayed is the Mass Effect titles.
I am replacing ME3 with MW, a totally different genre, because the only other RPGs of similar price are damned swords and sorcery crap. No f*ckin' way. So...I am hitting Bioware where it really hurts them, in the wallet. When/if they ever correct their egregious mistake and actually fix the ending to ME3 so that it has re-play value and no longer destroys the re-play value of 1 and 2, then I will be more than willing to buy ME3 again. Until then, Bioware doesn't get a friggin' dime.

You're getting rid of the game just because of the ending? I'm not entirely satisfied with the ending either, but the other 99% percent of the game is amazing. Multiplayer could use a little work, but... I don't know of anyone bought this game for the multiplayer.
Me, I'm willing to wait for a full exspansion with an alternate ending packaged in. I figured DLC as inevitable anyway; now they can use it as a means to give us a better ending.
My thoughts exactly... even though I really dislike the ending, the rest of the game and series was amazing. Really hope we see some exapansion on this one.

Bioware is only a division in EA, whereas Origin is an EA entity. So the argument would be that Amazon cares more about their customer satisfaction than EA, not Bioware.

Yes. And that is part of the reason to bail out and get refunds/replacements...to FORCE them to fix the ending. They only understand $$ and if $$ starts bailing out on them then they WILL fix the game sooner rather than later. That is the point.
I will re-purchase ME3 in the future if and ONLY if they fix the ending in a satisfactory manner. Until then, I'm going to be part of the pressure that comes NOT from merely complaining in a forum (but still hangs onto the game and maybe plays it) but by joining the REAL pressure group who are fleeing with their money. Much more effective pressure than complaint or suggestion.

Or how about the parents who bought a toy for their kid, based on advertising, only to find when the kid unraps it that the toy is NOT what was advertised and is, in fact, totally unacceptable? Are the parents whiney babies for taking the toy back and demanding a refund?
When Bioware delivers what they actually promised, I will buy ME3 again. Until then I've replaced it (thank you EA for the exchange!) with a different NON-Bioware title.
Money talks.
