Amazon is giving me a refund on my opened CE.

Sweet!

Maybe I can find another game that doesn't crush my soul to spend that $80 on.

Thats nice of them, but don't you think you perhaps should wait until the official Bioware response on the matter?.  Just saying.

*shrugs*

They give 30-days for the refund on video games as long as you cover the cost to ship it back Image IPB

The lack of response IS the response. I've worked in the industry for nearly a decade. Based on what I found out today there is no reason to keep it.

Can you expand on your statement, please.

If i could get my money back from GameStop i would glad you got your money back. The endings really are questionable in a 60$ game.

The best way to Hold the Line as you people put it, is not to take money away from a company that requires money to make the precious ending DLC you guys are begging for.

Good, nobody should have to pay for this game, and those who do should be getting a refund. In fact I'd repay my $200+ i spent on this series to unplay ME3. Yeah, that's bitterness talking.

It's the snowball effect. BioWare should respond and hopefully change the course of events.

Not explaining anything since NDA's can be enforced. I still enjoy NWN and several other EA games and really don't feel like getting my access to several other games removed because I blabbed about something I found out at work.

I agree with Mike Shepard and a few others here. It's nice of them to refund the game, but considering how things are with Product keys, especially for a CE version, that can cause a lot of problems.

Me? I wouldn't return a game just because it had a 'crappy' ending. I don't buy games just to end them. I buy games to actually play them.

I agree, and I'm not returning it either, but this kind of game, a lot of people bought and played for the story and just the story.  Unfortunately Bioware messed it up big time, both in the lack of decisions in-game and the lack of a decent ending.  And all so they could shoehorn in multiplayer and other bits and pieces that most of the fanbase didn't want anyway.  Basically they sold us out for the COD crowd.

Why does this seem fake to me?  To the point where I can smell it?(and I have terrible sinuses)  Who do you work for that has an NDA on a game already released?  Unless it's EA/Bio then I'm calling poppycock.

I can accept that Amazon is givng refunds, Amazon is an awesome company.  And yet you haven't redeemed your version of ME3 on the site and thusly can't post anywhere but here.  Why?  Just smells extremely fishy to me.  Just for reference the Devs here can check your account and see what you have.  If one comes in here and busts you out all I'm going to do is laugh.

Lets see, how many ways can you demonstrate you have no idea what you're talking about?

The game was released on 3 platforms, two of which are console platforms with their own certification process.
Any XBox title must pass Microsoft Compliance and Functional testing before going to yet another department that isn't Bioware or EA before being released on XBox.

Sony has a similar process for PS3 certification.

All of those test positions are filled by both MS and Sony FTE's and by vendor companies.

As for redeeming my game, I unregistered it and changed my sig when I returned it. I also removed it from Origin, cancelled my 3 TOR accounts and am moving on from this crap.

Thanks for playing.

I don't see the reason for canceling your TOR accounts.

So, you completely beat the game, didn't like the ending and are now getting a refund? Sounds cheap to me.

Glad someone else said it first. You played the game, you got your money's worth, asking for a refund is just...dumb. And its a bad move on Amazon's part.

Got my money's worth is a matter of opinion. Based on the amount of lies and bait and switch crap in this game, I simply disagree.

I returned my CE to GameStop for a full refund... but I beat the game in under 24 hours and went back with a fury in my eyes I think that store manager had never seen before.

(fyi, I'm actually a pretty physically intimidating guy at 6'5" and 280lbs of cut muscle, former military)

Because you played the whole game, you don't deserve a refund. It's like sitting through a bad movie and at the end asking for your money back. It's ridiculous.
