Jacob?

Anyone who "romanced" Jacob should have had him killed in the suicide mission.

........... No.....:?

Bioware has a pretty solid female fanbase. A fanbase they neglect and abuse constantly. But a fanbase nonetheless.

Jacob was cool. Then again I'm a tolerant and patient guy.... <_< most of the time.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait....wait. That is the same even if you romance him? Do you get the option to shank that **** or is everything exactly the same except for one or two "sorry" lines?

You can call him a bastard. That's about it.

Brynn also brags about stealing him from you. Bioware be hatin'

The cheating really doesn't bother me that much (I really don't take the romances that seriously) it's just how lazily written and forced it is.

Too bad you don't have the "good luck saving your team on your own" option, lol

It's not like anyone romanced Jacob. In a old poll here, around 1% of people had him as a LI.

Granted now everybody's getting neglected and abused, not just us!

Wait that's not better...

I still believe Jacob to be a joke character in the first place, most generic and boring character in the ME universe. I don't know why anybody would romance him. His romance was cheezy, boring, and poorly written.

There's a reason the "but the priiiizzze" quote is such a widespread meme.

If you read the Shadow Broker files in LotSB it actually mentions how the SB documented that Jacob was useless but he believed he was there to be the kind of anchor/moral support for the group. That's how much of a joke he was.

Yeah what the crap? That is exactly what my Renegade Femshep would do. Either that or just kill the two of them and then save the others.

All of the romances in Mass Effect are cheesy, boring, and poorly written. C'mon now. It wasn't until Mass Effect 3 that Bioware actually had to write them beyond one cheesy sex scene.

Not exactly what you wanted  in terms of "equal representation," huh? lol

I think he was stereotyped in ME2. His voice. His looks. He looks like a hip-hop singer, and sounds like one. Also the good guy in bad company - he's boring. On the cheating part... I don't see any "black stereotype" thing about it. Anybody can cheat and get the girl pregnant. Six month or a year, it actually doesn't matter, as far as I know, it doesn't take time to get girl pregnant if you're not careful, heh heh.

That's just because he looks vaguely like Kanye West.  I don't think he acts or talks like a hip hop singer at all.  If anything, he's quite the opposite, because in ME 2 he's the classic, semi-introverted "nice guy" with a reserved attitude.

In ME, Kaidan said he liked "adventurous" women. Jacob might like the bookish type. It is interesting he's the only one that Shep can't continue a romance with. Well, maybe Thane on the technicality we all knew he was going to die of his disease. I'm glad they let him go out in style.

I always hated Jacob, hes so annoying and looks like a baboon. Should probably have let him die in ME2.

So your telling me if femshep romanced Jacob in ME2 the mentioning of getting the scientist pregnant still happens in ME3? Wow really.

Me too, I had no clue. I just assumed that Jacob has a different storyline if you romanced him. I mean, Him dating that girl from the N7 mission seemed pretty random, they could of easily given him a few different lines of dialogue.

He doesn't act like a hip hop singer, but he talks like one. It's not phrases or something... just an intonation. Sounds like that, to me at least.

Eh..., I don't know about that.  I think he's pretty articulate and well spoken most of the time.  The only things I would say are out of that character are when he mentions "getting loud and spilling drinks on the Citadel," and of course, "the priiize."

Wow, the way he waves the pregnancy in your face is absolutely awful. Name it Shepard? I'd blow up the damn hospital if I heard him say that.

I got mad at Jacob when he tried to act like he knew my Shepard and said: "The Normandy's your only love, you'll never be content after the war, you're just a soldier, you don't want a family like me."

He don't know me like that.

He says that??? That's pretty cold.

It's not an exact quote but basically yeah. He contradicted my male Shep when I said I wanted something like he had some day.

A romanced Jacob in Mass Effect 3. So lazy, Bioware.

Haha, this is why you should have let him volunteer to go through the ducts just like he wanted.
