I remember when ME2 came out, and those of us who woo'ed someone in 1 lost out in 2, only to be met with promises that staying faithful to our LI would pay off largely in 3 - only difference I've spotted - one line in the same scene everyone else sees..

ya know, maybe an ending needs to be written for those of us who feel so disappointed - as a reward for being "faithful" in 2.. I've been pondering this for a while, even wrote a rough draft when it finally hit me what needed to happen

Anyone else feel robbed?

No. I was perfectly happy with my romance.

The ME1 LIs have a full romance, while the ME2 ones are either shunted to the side or not considered romances at all. Taking that into consideration, it looks like staying faithful was rewarded after all.

Garrus and Tali's romance were good for me, not so sure about the VS though. I won't even touch the Jacob/Thane romances.

But of course

I guess it helped that I didn;t really fancy any of the ME2 romances to begin with, so staying faithful was easy.

I had one char cheat on Kaidan, yet when you go into three, the options are all the same if you stay faithful.. I think there is something just wrong with that.. :/

I just expected more for the loyalty, a bonus scene, alt ending, etc.. *sigh* I got the same thing from an import as from a new char..

I was loyal to Liara throughout ME1 & ME2...and for what?!

She was a cold fish except for maybe 2 conversations and the Love scene.

The romance from an imported character versus a new character are not the same. They aren't dramatically different, but they certainly aren't the same.
