Okay, first of all, let me say I was not a fan of the endings for various reasons I don't think I need to go into. However, I have a problem with some of what I've been seeing on the forums the last few days. Specifically, the attitude towards those who did enjoy the ending.

Let's face it. There are people who liked the ending. Maybe they felt it was deep. Maybe they didn't mind some of the plot holes or even felt they weren't plot holes at all. They don't agree with us who disliked it. That's perfectly fine. They should enjoy the ending. Just as many of us feel we should have been able to enjoy the endings those who did like them should have that same right.

But I see too many people who go onto threads of people who enjoyed the ending and belittle the fact that they enjoyed it. A lot of times it takes the form of them "asking" the poster to explain what they perceive as plot holes. Just because someone enjoyed the ending doesn't mean that they should be interrogated over it. They didn't make the ending and they don't even need to understand everything about the ending to enjoy it.

Beyond that I see a lot of people insulting those who liked the ending, calling them, more or less, dumb because they don't understand our point of view. I can't even begin to wrap my head around this attitude. If someone calls us childish and entitled there is an outrage. We don't like to be insulted for our preference. Why should we insult others for theirs.

Now there are some legitamate things people bring up. There are indeed people who come on here and insult those who did like it or who miss the points for us disliking the ending. And it makes sense to clarify those things. I just feel like people take it too far and I feel people are doing this to people who liked the ending and aren't attacking our position. That's what I 'm talking against.

Anyway, I just wanted to get this out there because its been bugging me. Thanks for letting me vent there. :happy:
