 My first point is, if choosing the synthesis option, why will that satisfy the Reapers and make them leave. If organics become part synthetic (than in itself is baffling), why does that mean they won't create a life threating synthetic still. There's no reason that they wouldn't make them still.
Also, what will it do to organics, can they talk to computers or something. No explanation on what the side effects are.
The whole game is about all the races coming together to fight for their right to survive. To be what they are. But, the synthesis ending changes them. They're no longer what they were before. Some weird mechanical hybrid.
