I was doing the sidequest in Eden Prime DLC where you must get a few pieces of evidence to help the eden prime colonists.

I got all of them, and got the achievement, and it finalised the quest in my journal but then i died. 

I resumed from checkpoint and I don't think I got the final piece of evidence.

I have now left Eden Prime, cannot go back, and the quest is still opened.  Shouldn't it auto-close as theres no way to get it now.

You would think that the quest auto-fails since you can't go back to the planet, but ME3 doesn't work that way. Whether it is a glitch, or how the developer decided that is how the game should be, I don't know either way.

Where do you turn the evidence in to in order to complete the quest? I covered that place top to bottom a dozen times over and confirmed I had every piece of evidence and still that mission never completes itself. Or if it does... It has never cleared itself out of the active quest section of the journal.
