Did anyone else notice that, if you romanced kaidan in ME3 with male shep, and did a NG+, in the hospital he says something like "are you flirting with me commander? Wait, nevermind, let me live in this illusion" (something like that). I certainly don't remember that the first time I played. Does anyone else? If not..then I think this is pretty darn awesome..

I think that line must be related to something else. I got it on my first playthrough, but not the current one. Neither is a a New Game + (eff NG+, it is of the devil), but both imported the same ME2 Shepard. It's probably related to something else- my current Shepard is a bit more renegadey. That might be it. You might only get it if you're super nice to him earlier, or something. I'm definitely curious.

I got that on both playthroughs, one imported and one NG+, with my FemShep. I had assumed it was due to the past romance + staying faithful, it seems like something that would be out of place for someone just trying to take the Paragon dialogue with him.

I got it in my first run through as male Shep. When I asked him how his biotics were.

It's based on buying him present. If you buy him present, he will add that to "Or maybe you have (got better with age)" compliment and will start wondering if you're flirting

When I heard that line I got giddy. At the time, some people were saying Cortez was the only gay option for Maleshep, but I kept on going to see Kaidan on the off-chance that my faith since ME1 had been validated (My shep romanced no one in both games.)

When he asked me that question I jumped out of my chair and danced for a bit.

You know you can romance him in ME1 through save edit, right? You also get some extra dialogue in ME3 if you import that save too.

Ok I have never gotten that line. I was always nice to him. Went and saw him in the Hospital, got him that present, did everything paragon like. And never gotten that line. And sorry is this sounds like a noob question, but what does NG+ stand for?

^NG+ means New Game Plus. Its basically starting the game over but with all the equipment and levels of the previous game.

I got him the alcohal in both playthroughs of the game, but he only said it in my first play. I always liked the slight bromance between the two, even though I romance Miranda all the way.

Maybe its tied to a dialogue choice during Mars or on the Normandy before Mars?

- "Kaidan..."
- "Don't Kaidan me, this is business!"

Makes me lol every time.

I think if you romanced someone else he will not say that. In my first play through with no import and getting him the present he said it to me and also when I imported from ME2 and I edited the save saying I had romanced him in ME1 and stayed loyal in ME2.

I have not tried any other combinations.
