There was another thread discussing pre-release quotes Mass Effect 3 debacle - Pre-release developer quotes

I think it would be better to consolidate all of that info into one single big thread, less chance for it to get lost like several smaller threads can, IMHO.
Anyway, great find, Glitch007.

Please, Bioware, I hope you have something up your sleeve that still validates these statements as true to the end. *cries*

Well reading this, actually makes me think that they really have something in mind, I don't believe they would kill off something they've worked so long and hard on and on top off it lie about what will happen to raise anticipation, not to this degree.

I don't use twitter but can't someone copy one or several of these quotes and ask them directly what they have to say about it, and ask in what way they think that the current ending(s?) apply to those statements.

Don't flame and rage, just ask in a polite manner, we need a serious answer.

I LOVE BioWare, they gave us the best Sci Fi Universe, and the second best Fantasy Universe, other than this hickup, they are the MASTERS of story telling! If someone does have Twitter please post them these quotes to recieve answers. But be polite about it, rage just makes you seem petty, quite disapointment and evidence will go a LOT further. Plus it's right, (Paragon) to be polite to the people who have given us such an amazing universe to get lost in.;)

Other than this hiccup? You must be forgetting about another little hiccup they had named Dragon Age 2. I think of Dragon Age 2 as being Strike One and releasing Mass Effect 3's ending in the state it is in as being Strike Two. A failure to fix Mass Effect 3's ending will be Strike Three.

For some, SWTOR was also strike 2, and ME3 was strike 3.

Such a shame this whole deal is turning into. Why oh Why did they choose to ruin the greatest series perhaps of all time?

Because...
1. They started hiring people who only see video games as a job...not something they love.
2. They want to milk you for all the money you got.

So 100 points of War Assets are "huge consequences" for the Rachni?

Bioware based on the OP you have completely failed line after line word after word, on EVERY Promise. What gets me is the line "and if the endings arent varied why would you want it" yada yada yada. How do you feel @Hudson and co? 3 different colors, and reapers falling or leaving IS NOT the amazing ending we as fans were promised. might I ad NO questions were answered, BUT MORE were brought up. To TOP it all off the ending mind ****s you ala Inception, only I liked that movie. I hate your endings. FIX THEM. dont say you listen. SHOW you listen. give us what YOU promised would be in the game that WE payed 60 plus dollars for. or YOUR credibility is jack **** , and you will see no trust from your fans any longer. much love. peace

I wonder if they expect people to believe a single word they say when advertising another game of their making. :?

I know this is one of the older threads about this topic, but it's what the search function spat out.

In any case, it deserves to be seen. People are starting to forget how many lies we were told

God all those great statements about what the game would be explain why I preordered the Collectors Edition six months before the games release.
Why I organised a day of work on the friday (game came out in Australia on Thursday) so I could leave work early and with a kitchen stacked with drink and snacks to play my heart out.

I hadn't played a game like that for a damn decade. I believed it would be like my 20's so enthused.I feel so old now.

Damn all those lies.

Now Hipster Casey has some potential :D

The sad thing about this whole issue, is that the lies alone would warrant a massive backlash.
Being promised all kinds of diversity (probably buying the game because of that promise) and then being shoehorned into one color coded cutscene? Damn...

The fact that that one cutscene is also abysmally written only adds to that...

Don´t know how this statements are handled for pre purchase. Its adverting or not.

Some ppl say no its legit what they did others are against it.
get a layer and find it out, at least some one is losing some money.
If you have the coin.
Or out of principle to prevent it to happen again.

Yeah, out of all of them, Casey Hudson's probably the highest on my ****list. I miss Drew Karpyshyn SO much...
Anyway, even if they fix this they've managed to do irreparable damage to my brand loyalty. I'm probably going to start being really leery of their games, and think twice about preorders, if I even buy any more...

I admit, I left Arlakh Company to die to save the Rachni because I was seriously expecting something HUGE for saving the queen one last time. But as the game went on, I just heard about the rachni in side discussions and what have you. I kept waiting for it....and there was nothing, they just ended up being another number, another score. I was admittedly disappointed. Not to the point where I would have given ME3 a bad score overall, but I felt that the Matriarch Dilnaga quest in ME1 got you something a lot more valuable in-game for ME3 than the rachni did as just another number to your overall readiness score.

If I replay it again, I probably will just go ahead and save Arlakh Company. I'll deal with getting less points(unless Grunt dies or something, then I'll change my mind).
