I'm already done with Bioware/EA. Never buying anything from them again. If Bioware admits its mistake and somehow fixes this, I would consider purchasing games from them in the future, but only after it has come out. No more pre-orders.

If they ignore or dismiss us? No more BioWare or EA for me, thank you.

I'll go ahead and say it.

Never again. Even if they release the DLC, I'm probably done with BioWare. That's not an idle threat, that's just how it is. Not going to be duped by them again.

Besides, the internet has a strange habit of making things that cost money, free. Internet magic.

Well most of us agree that the Ending to Mass Effect 3 is one of the worst video game endings ever. I saw some threads about "Will you forgive Bioware, if they fixed the ending?" What will you really do, if they don't fix the endings?

Before answering to my post please think calmly because, you may change your mind after you calm down.
If you like the endings, don't bother to write here, because it doesn't matter to you whether the ending is fixed or not. And no this isn't a hate thread.

Personally I will continue to follow Biowares games, but I won't buy any of them until I'm sure they are good. I will be whole lot picky.

tbh, I was already on the fence about getting Mass Effect 3 because of Dragon Age 2, if the endings remain the same I doubt if I will ever buy a Bioware game again

Tell my guild that we dont change to SwKotor (its a 50/50 race) and go somewhere else, do not buy Bioware and or EA products. Prevent others from buying from this company's.
Whene ever they make a game the first thing to say and think will be:
"lets hope they dont screew it up like with ME3"

I will continue my Biowear boycott. I aint giving the company another dime if it doesn't get fixed. I feel they betrayed me on a personal level. Mass Effect was somethin' special. Then they broke the whole series with an incomprehensibly horrendous and ambiguous ending. They gotta make it right or they don't deserve my money.

Note: "We're going to wait until more people finish the game" was not how I wanted them to address the fans regarding the ending.

All this negative press may make them decide to dump more money into the multiplayer aspect of the game through DLCs and whatnot. I really, really hope this isn't the case. But if they take a hard line against changing the ending, they may try to make up lost sales through added MP features. This would suck, as the MP doesn't interest me at all.

Lol. MP DLC? I will not spend a single penny on anything related to ME if they will not do something about this ending. I can already imagine the rage over here on the day when BW will (if they dare) announce a MP/Omega/Scan-more-planets DLC.

Yes, but if they flat out refuse to change the ending, then they may see (wrongly, of course) that their recourse should be trying to get people interested in the MP aspect of the game. I can see this happening, "we received all the feedback, thank you, future games will take it all into account, enjoy our MP class addition plus appearance pack, only $9.99." Watch and see.

Nothing, EVER, from EA again. They are the 'Catalyst' for all that has gone wrong with Bioware since they 'Assumed Control'...

I'll done with gaming as a whole. I invested too much time, money and emotion in Mass Effect for them to give us that nonsensical plot hole filled ending.

Now you're just being too emotional. This doesn't make any sense. Just because BioWare screwed up you're going to quit gaming altogether? Please, don't do that. Don't give BioWare that satisfaction. Just quit playing BioWare games and enjoy the games from other developers instead. Don't let BioWare take this awesome hobby (gaming) away from you.

Well I will do what I did with DA2.

Refused to buy the DLC.

But on top of that it means that I will also never pre-order another Bioware game which is sad because ive ALWAYS preordered BW's games. ALWAYS.

And I have always bought multiple copies across platforms of their games cos I wanted to support them (example I have PC copies of Jade Empire, KotOR, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Xbox copies also). That will stop too.

I also didn't renew my TOR subscription.

I'll be sad. I'll still play the ME games, but I likely won't buy any DLC for them. I'll still play other BioWare games, which are developed by different teams, but I will definitely feel like something was lost.

I think that's what upsets me about the ending(s) the most: it felt like a sudden loss. I was expecting to feel melancholy at the end of the game, but I can't really even take solace in at least knowing the characters got on with their lives.

I will headcanon indoctrination theory, and then I will move on to playing other games. I need to get all the trophies in Dark Souls, Catherine, Child of Eden and El Shaddai. That will take a while.

If something isn't done, I just won't buy another game from them new ever again. Sadly, I'd rather give my money to the completely soulless corporation that is Gamestop. Or if it's something that I really feel I need the Project 10$/Online Pass code for, I'll wait till GameFly starts selling their used copies.

Of course, I'm a little extra bitter because the copy of ME3 N7 edition that I ordered directly from the EA/Origin store never shipped, despite the fact they've had my money for months since I used paypal. So there's that.

I'll play the **** out of ME3 like I did the first two games. Then play each one back to back. Then if the new ending is good enough, (I'm sure it will be if the actually DO make a new one) then I'll follow Bioware again. Granted with a lot more caution. This hasn't completely ruined the company for me, but it HAS ruined the series. Though since Mass Effect was their trademark series, if something isn't done I'm not sure if I'd invest in DA3 or DLC.

Since pre-ending DLC doesn't matter anyway, I don't see the point in spending money on it. So either they release a fix-the-ending DLC or I won't buy any of the DLCs at all. And I got pretty much every DLC for Dragon Age (2) and Mass Effect (2) there is. And I definitely won't preorder any more games from BioWare. I'll probably even wait some time until after the release to see if there is a ****storm going on like right now and only if (when) I'm convinced that the game is actually worth buying the way it is, I'll consider it.

Right now im pretty depressed cause of the bad ending. This game used to lift me up, make me feel good. But after I finished the game that changed.. So if not, then im done with both bioware and EA.

I'm going to preorder whatever game IP they come out with next. You guys are so dramatic but you probably will too. Bioware ended my favourite ever game series badly but that doesn't stop it from being my favourite ever game series and if they can do something even remotely as good as Mass Effect (ending and all) I'll play it and enjoy it.

I will part ways with Bioware. It is not something I want to do, but given the circumstances, my hand has been forced.

I may very well call it quits with Bioware and any future games. Mass Effect was the only title that kept me loyal to Bioware. Hell, if it wasn't for the original Mass Effect, I never would have picked up Dragon Age Orgins (one of my all-time favorite games).

But thinking about how BW utterly gutted a fantastic universe depresses me more than I care to admit - future Bioware titles will only serve to remind me of the pain I felt when I ended Shepard's "uplifting" journey.

Well, I already support one bloated, moral-less, money hungry, corporate beast with my continued dedication to the Fallout universe (Bethesda sucks, but the games are good). I don't think I have room in my life for two and to be honest I doubt they could pull as good a creation as the ME universe out of the bag a second time. There are a lot of games out there due to the immense and ever growing size of the industry, I wouldn't feel like I am missing out.

I expect I'll play an EA game again (since, they have been around since before time began and will always be around, because basically, they are the Reapers) and maybe a BW one, if they survive long enough, but I will certainly not buy one of their games for a long time.

However, I am starting to think they will fix it. Not because of our relentless complaining, but simply because it is such a hugely popular franchise and because the universe really was an incredible creation and the kind of thing that is only likely to come around once in a companies lifetime. With this potential movie in the works, there are massive opportunities to make shed loads more money by sustaining the universe indefinitely (like the Star Wars universe). But by blowing up all the relays, they kill that universe (or at least severely limit it) and therefore the franchises ability to generate money for the company. Now, while it's possible for a bloated corporate body like EA to make a really stupid business decision, the odds are against

Basically what I'm saying is, even if no one boycotted BW/EA, they would still loose a huge amount of potential future cash due to the endings limiting effect on the potential future earnings of the franchise. Whatever we do, we couldn't do as much to lower their potential future profits then they would have done to themselves.

Probably won't purchase any more games, at least in the Mass Effect franchise. If I ever end up finishing DA:O, and finishing DA2, and they end up making a DA3... I MAY play it. It'll probably be used, as there are very, very few games I'll shell out money that goes directly to the developer due to the fact that I have very little money to begin with.

Mass Effect, for those wondering, was one of those franchises I was willing to pre-order a CE for, which is a huge dedication for my money. And they just lost it if they choose to not fix this ****storm of an ending.
