Never again. Even if they release the DLC, I'm probably done with BioWare. That's not an idle threat, that's just how it is. Not going to be duped by them again.
Besides, the internet has a strange habit of making things that cost money, free. Internet magic.

Well most of us agree that the Ending to Mass Effect 3 is one of the worst video game endings ever. I saw some threads about "Will you forgive Bioware, if they fixed the ending?" What will you really do, if they don't fix the endings?
Before answering to my post please think calmly because, you may change your mind after you calm down.
If you like the endings, don't bother to write here, because it doesn't matter to you whether the ending is fixed or not. And no this isn't a hate thread.
Personally I will continue to follow Biowares games, but I won't buy any of them until I'm sure they are good. I will be whole lot picky.
tbh, I was already on the fence about getting Mass Effect 3 because of Dragon Age 2, if the endings remain the same I doubt if I will ever buy a Bioware game again

Whene ever they make a game the first thing to say and think will be:

Note: "We're going to wait until more people finish the game" was not how I wanted them to address the fans regarding the ending.

Yes, but if they flat out refuse to change the ending, then they may see (wrongly, of course) that their recourse should be trying to get people interested in the MP aspect of the game. I can see this happening, "we received all the feedback, thank you, future games will take it all into account, enjoy our MP class addition plus appearance pack, only $9.99." Watch and see.Aweus wrote...
Lol. MP DLC? I will not spend a single penny on anything related to ME if they will not do something about this ending. I can already imagine the rage over here on the day when BW will (if they dare) announce a MP/Omega/Scan-more-planets DLC.KombatWombat wrote...
All this negative press may make them decide to dump more money into the multiplayer aspect of the game through DLCs and whatnot. I really, really hope this isn't the case. But if they take a hard line against changing the ending, they may try to make up lost sales through added MP features. This would suck, as the MP doesn't interest me at all.

I'll done with gaming as a whole. I invested too much time, money and emotion in Mass Effect for them to give us that nonsensical plot hole filled ending.
Now you're just being too emotional. This doesn't make any sense. Just because BioWare screwed up you're going to quit gaming altogether? Please, don't do that. Don't give BioWare that satisfaction. Just quit playing BioWare games and enjoy the games from other developers instead. Don't let BioWare take this awesome hobby (gaming) away from you.

Refused to buy the DLC.
But on top of that it means that I will also never pre-order another Bioware game which is sad because ive ALWAYS preordered BW's games. ALWAYS.
And I have always bought multiple copies across platforms of their games cos I wanted to support them (example I have PC copies of Jade Empire, KotOR, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Xbox copies also). That will stop too.
I also didn't renew my TOR subscription.

I think that's what upsets me about the ending(s) the most: it felt like a sudden loss. I was expecting to feel melancholy at the end of the game, but I can't really even take solace in at least knowing the characters got on with their lives.

Of course, I'm a little extra bitter because the copy of ME3 N7 edition that I ordered directly from the EA/Origin store never shipped, despite the fact they've had my money for months since I used paypal. So there's that.

But thinking about how BW utterly gutted a fantastic universe depresses me more than I care to admit - future Bioware titles will only serve to remind me of the pain I felt when I ended Shepard's "uplifting" journey.

I expect I'll play an EA game again (since, they have been around since before time began and will always be around, because basically, they are the Reapers) and maybe a BW one, if they survive long enough, but I will certainly not buy one of their games for a long time.
However, I am starting to think they will fix it. Not because of our relentless complaining, but simply because it is such a hugely popular franchise and because the universe really was an incredible creation and the kind of thing that is only likely to come around once in a companies lifetime. With this potential movie in the works, there are massive opportunities to make shed loads more money by sustaining the universe indefinitely (like the Star Wars universe). But by blowing up all the relays, they kill that universe (or at least severely limit it) and therefore the franchises ability to generate money for the company. Now, while it's possible for a bloated corporate body like EA to make a really stupid business decision, the odds are against
Basically what I'm saying is, even if no one boycotted BW/EA, they would still loose a huge amount of potential future cash due to the endings limiting effect on the potential future earnings of the franchise. Whatever we do, we couldn't do as much to lower their potential future profits then they would have done to themselves.

Mass Effect, for those wondering, was one of those franchises I was willing to pre-order a CE for, which is a huge dedication for my money. And they just lost it if they choose to not fix this ****storm of an ending.
