Stop buying anything from Bioware.

I mean the thing that I loved most about these games was the characters, their interactions and relationships, and the rich, well crafted worlds they lived in. Since th endings completely ruin everything I loved and was playing for, why would I trust them not to do it again with their next game?

Right now im pretty depressed cause of the bad ending. This game used to lift me up, make me feel good. But after I finished the game that changed.. So if not, then im done with both bioware and EA.

Indeed, actually I could've lived a whole lot better with no ending at all...

Played the heck out of ME1 and ME2, very doubtful I'll even attempt a 2nd playthrough of ME3. Posted Image

I really hope they fix the ending, otherwise I guess it's time to move on from PC gaming. Seems like I'm too old and not the target audience anymore. Will have to find some other old geezers to play Pen&Paper RPGs with...

I won't boycott BioWare. Call me weak-willed, but they still make good games that I might want to play.

That being said, I won't buy ME3 DLC. I like DLC for games like ME3 mostly for the story, and since the ending kind of ruins the story, well, there's no point in it.

I may buy Dragon Age 3, but I'll wait for reviews, and probably won't buy it if they don't at least try to recapture some of Origins. 2 wasn't THAT bad, just bad in comparison.

I will probably play ME3 Multiplayer some, but probably not enough to bother buying DLC for it.

Like most people on the this thread.

I'm not going to bother with their future games. ME3 is my last game I pre-ordered in the heartbeat and I've regretted doing it in retrospect. So there's no reason for me to even bother buying their games from the bargain bin in the future, let alone another stupid pre-order from them.

As for whatever happens afterwards for me, I'll still be gaming but I'll be mostly buying indie stuff instead. And probably a few strange gems once in a while, like No More Heroes, etc. In fact I rather take my chances with a new Deadly Premonition game, rather than a new BioWare game.

This.. Minus DA3 ...

KOTOR is still my favorite game of all time. And as much as I am depressed about the ME3 Ending, I'm not going to let it completely ruin the Good Games Bioware has made, Just ME3.

I WILL NOT be buying any ME3 DLC And I WILL NOT buy any future Mass Effect Games. I don't care how different the story or the characters are, I will know that the Universe should actually be Fked and whatever cockamamie excuse they bring up to make it so the Universe is All Good by the next game, I'm just not gunna buy that BS.

Live life the way I always have. Buy games that I genuinely believe are interesting and not because they are made by "so and so". Buy dlc either because it interests me, or for its achievements.

I'll stop buying Bioware games, or any other game published by EA, and I'll make sure all my friends know why. It may hurt, as I've been a customer of theirs since Baldur's Gate, but it's what I'll have to do.

I won't play the game. I will never buy another game from Bioware on release day. Any Bioware game I do think of buying I will wait for it to be out for several weeks and check the boards to see what everyone is saying about it. As a former Bioware fanboy, they have lost my trust.

I will be disappointed. That's really all. I thought the endings were horrendous, but the rest of the game and the series has brought me a lot of joy. I know that I will buy BioWare games in the future. They do good work. No matter how big, I can forgive a single mistake.

I think they should take our critiques seriously even if we don't threaten to boycott BioWare forever, because I believe the critiques stand on their own two feet and don't need additional tactics (though I think the charity drive sends a very positive message).

I'm probably just not going to buy any more Bioware games or DLC. Then again, if the DLC ends up looking really good, I might buy it.

No way to really know. I'm already starting to get over the bad ending, although I'm not going to stop holding out for a better one.

I feel like an idiot. I thought it said if is IS fixed :/ If it ISN'T then there is no way I'll ever get anything from Bioware. Nor will I ever play the ME games again.

I don't think I have ever read so many over melodramatic, hypocritical responses from people before. I can say in all confidence that more than half the people condemning bioware will return for their next major title. This is nothing more than bandwagon doom and gloom, a trend that is all too common on the internet. You really should be ashamed.

Like many here, Bioware will lose a customer, and a passionate fan who has brought others into Bioware games.

I will try my absolute hardest to block the last ten minutes or so from my head. Needless to say i wont be buying anything else from bioware until they give us a better ending or it turns out the indoc theory was true and that ME4 will actually be the final game in Shepard's story.

Quit Bioware for real. Will never touch any ME3 DLC which does not fix the endings.

That would end any association I had with EA.

If this really is the ending they made for Mass Effect then it's clear to me that EA will corrupt and destroy any studio they sign on. The Sims is a giant money grab. Their football games are repackaged the same way every year and hyped to be different. Never liked their shooters or racing games.

Destroying my favorite RPG studio would be the last straw.

I wouldn't make a blanket statement that I won't ever buy anything Bioware ever again, but I would be hesitant to pre-order in the future. I'll wait a few months for the real reviews and reactions to come out, not the initial glowing pre-release praise. I also won't buy any ME DLCs or any future franchise continuations, and definitely not a MMO. If the Shepard ending is cannon, then the story is over.

If it was melodramatic then there wouldn't be over thirty thousand posts of people wondering what the hell just happened on the ending, 2 star ratings on AMAZON, front page news talking about the issues, and nearly every opinion poll that has any relevance showing at least 85% of people disapproving the endings.

It's not a bunch of whiny ****es. It's the biggest screwup anyone could imagine for a popular trilogy

Continue buying Bioware games and continue buying ME3 DLC.

Sorry but my expectations were not high especially due to all the moaning on here given game did not come out till the 9th locally so listened to all those who complained from the 3rd till 9th. My desire and purpose for the ending was exactly what I got (emotional farewell to Shepard) and my emotional reaction to any disappointment I might have faced if was not how I wanted was kept in check because I know the value and reality of how one should view a game as simply a form of entertainment and the telling of a story by a developer. The freedom within that framework is a bonus and not a requirement and they do not owe you it.

Write fanfiction in which Blasto the Hanar single-handedly rids the galaxy of reapers. XD Or maybe not...

Byebye Bioware.

ME 3 really isn't worth playing too many times if all I get is a bespoke ending, for all my effort.

The destination is just as important as the journey, and if I know that I'm leading my character to hell, with zero chance of saving her, why bother?

Nice burn with the "bespoke" line.

;)
