I don't know. I love Mass Effect, but I do loathe the ending. Honestly, I may have to just write some dorky fanfiction to make myself feel better, and pretend that it's the "real" ending. I was able to pretend Final Fantasy X-2 doesn't exist to preserve the integrity of FFX in my mind, I can do it for this series, too.

If they aren't fixed I will definitely take a hard look at future Bioware titles before I purchase them, IF i decide to do so, ESPECIALLY in the Mass Effect universe.

Move on, not trust Bioware in the future, continue to be consumer conscious.

If bioware falls because of this, I will morn what they where, but not what they have become. Other studios will rise up, fill the gap, its call competition. Heck look at double fine and wasteland 2, we could have a whole rebirth of old genre's, funded by fans and not bound to studio pressures and CoD.

If they don't change or at least explain the ending so all of us could understand why they do this, the context or anything. I won't buy any dlc and if they make new games, wait patiently after the players reviews and of course don't pre-order anything from BW/EA.
I´m very dissapointed with them now. u_u

Not buy a single game Bioware make or EA publish ever again and actively implore others to do the same.

What will I do?
Live my life. Warn others. And never support EA or Bioware with a single penny for the rest of my life. I will also try to turn away any and all potential consumers from their company by actively convincing people about what a horrible douche move they pull on their fans and consumers.

What will I do?

Nothing. My copy is sitting in a pawn shop waiting for some other poor soul to pick it up, and I got a partial return on the money I just wasted on a $60 turd. If you guys want to keep forking your cash over to EA's DLC empire, be my guest - but I'm not paying another cent.

I will never buy any game from Bioware. To me, ME3 demonstrates how a company try to make as much as possible money from customers by selling a incomplete game. And, I guess they will do the same thing to The Old Republic even through they plot a bright future to players. However, you can consider ME3 as prologue about how a company screw their own name.

If the ending isn't "fixed" (or finished), I'll quietly uninstall all 3 Mass Effect games from my PC, and think long and hard about what my new favorite franchise of games will be.

Continue to enjoy the Mass Effect series, buy DLC, and still buy new games from Bioware if they are good.

I don't think I have ever read so many over melodramatic, hypocritical responses from people before. I can say in all confidence that more than half the people condemning bioware will return for their next major title. This is nothing more than bandwagon doom and gloom, a trend that is all too common on the internet. You really should be ashamed.

If it was melodramatic then there wouldn't be over thirty thousand posts of people wondering what the hell just happened on the ending, 2 star ratings on AMAZON, front page news talking about the issues, and nearly every opinion poll that has any relevance showing at least 85% of people disapproving the endings.

It's not a bunch of whiny ****es. It's the biggest screwup anyone could imagine for a popular trilogy

That doesn't make them right at all. You didn't like the ending, okay I get that. To be honest, I wasn't completely fond with it either. But to condemn an entire game, entire franchise, or the entire development team for it isblowing things way out of proportion. Besides, who knows what future projects they have instore for the game, whether it be an expansion or DLC.

People need to be patient about these things.

I would regard the Mass Effect series as a flawed masterpiece. I wouldn't spit on the other 2 games or the first 95% of ME3, but the last 5% of the game almost kills any replay value for it.

Does this mean I won't buy Bioware games in the future? Hell no. Bioware is still ahead of the competition, heck, the reason why we are complaining about the ending is because how much we all love the damn series. I would buy the DLC, simply because their previous DLC packs have been spectacular thus far. I'm still considering getting Dragon Age II, and possibly IIII, and if they really stick with this atrocious ending, I'll probably stick around for the next Mass Effect game. At least that game won't be the last of a trilogy, so less chance of being disappointed, etc.

If something is not done no more ME/DLC/movie/whatever from  EA/Bioware...

For the other games, I will wait one or two weeks after the release... No more preorder...

how can you say its flawed and also say your not spitting on the other 2 titles?

the other 2 games are part of the series you cant just say one is so bad without demonizing the others

Won't buy any ME3 DLC and will not purchase DA3, but that is just due to how bad DA2 was. I already cancelled my Star Wars account, so I guess that will pretty much be it with Bioware.

Forcing that crapware called Origin was a slap in the groin, then when i was down, the endings just gave me a Hulk Hogan leg drop.

probably boycott bioware and avoid ea as much as possible. i'm having trouble replaying the series and it's disheartening so if they don't fix it that really won't change and i will happily uninstall origin. i'm a casual player so this won't be that difficult

Not buy any DLC for sure. I'll still be interested in Bioware games, but with a feeling of trepidation.

Wonder if a Mass Effect movie will leave me equalily let down...

I don't think I could bring myself to ever touch the Mass Effect series again if they did nothing.

I would consider playing another Bioware game if it interested me enough though. But even then I would buy it used.

Give them the opportunity to rebuild my confidence in them.
