Reading lots of these posts bothers me... The violent comments directed at the producers of the game will get nobody what they want, ever.

Yea, it's cool that the fanbase cares, and I think it's great that Bioware cares at all to 'address' people who's money they already have. Let's not squander this with rage - be productive, and maybe Bioware will come up with something that pleases us. If not, then don't buy whatever comes next. No need for hostilities.

People feel hostile when ripped off.The endings, lack of replayablity,to me of the series,to others the last game.Multiplayer being needed in a single player game.People criticizing being called stupid(In DA:2 thread I admit)People be called stupid (alluded to)and a minority but have 60,000 on facebook poll.I agree violent comments are not needed..on both sides. When they minimize customers and their complaints, they show how unprofessional they are.

Bioware needs to stop quoting critics. They answer to the consumer and fan base, not critics. Also, maybe it's just a simple fact that in this day and age of conflict and negativity in our world, people simply want a fairy-tale ending.

All I wanted to hear was this 'This is not the last you’ll hear of Commander Shepard'. Now i am satisfied. Thank you Casey!

The dead don't speak from the diaphram, so at least for me, I don't see how I will be hearing anything else from my Shepard. And apparently by the time I bought ME3 and without resorting to multiplayer, there wasn't a thing I was going to be able to do about it.

I want Casey to directly answer to that whole "the endings are unique, you won't be presented with ending A, B or C" fiasco. Enough talking up the game!

First of all i'd like to thank you for Mass effect series which was truly great and secondly i hope you won't change the ending of Mass Effect 3 because of a few crybabies who can't seem to comprehend the bigger picture and thoughts of the nature of life itself, which were obviously still too mature to be released in an AAA title.

I think you have accepted too much already, truth be told. Your preferred currency seems to be plotholes.

My analysis on the Mass Effect 3 ending.

After completing the game a week ago I’ve been going over the endings again and again thinking what those players felt with numerous playthrough’s. What value do those saves have if they have no effect on the ending in the slightest? Those players have played at least 40hours in ME1, 40 hours in ME2 and 40 hours more in ME3. Plus to account multiple saves so there can easily be over hundreds of hours of investment into this franchise. There’s no unique outcome or enough closer to the gamer in each ending. I don’t blame the Bioware team at all I think they did a great job and should  proud to able to make a game which spans three titles.

What I think was the main problem was the development time. As you guys have said in “The Final Hours of Mass Effect 3”, you were press with time didn’t have a clear ending in sight. I think if you had delayed the game a further 3-4 months you’ll would of have more time to have clear-cut ending which would of appealed to the mass community more.
Me, I loved the whole game but I also get why a lot of people dislike the ending. I think everyone expected a very long end sequence explaining about the choices you’ve made throughout the trilogy.

Just wanted to put my view across to the devs. Thanks.

I'll take all three currencies myself but I am ALL EARS (eyes?) to read the ingenious and enlightening thoughts of GigaPudding on "the nature of life itself".  I'm SURE it will be wise, intelligent, deep...ah who am I kidding.  GigaPudding's ravings about "the nature of life itself" are likely to be as wise, intelligent, deep as the retarded and totally inchoate ending of Mass Effect 3.

I'm pretty sure that there is absolutely NOTHING of value in the Mass Effect series, but particularly the third one, that relates in any way, shape, or form to the 'nature of life itself'.

Was there a reason for you to play it, assuming that you actually played it, if there is nothing of value in the series? :)

To everyone in this forum, the way I see it is, I don't know about you but I personally don't EVER in MY LIFE WANT the Mass Effect series to die out. SO if that means Bioware keeps making DLC for eternity, Hey Bioware's earned my cash out of my wallet. I really loved the endings, but what I also loved was that they were at a cliffhanger. I would LOVE for their to be new DLC to expand on "WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?" In fact, If Bioware actually ended the ME series with ME3 at a really good ending, it doesn't matter HOW beautiful the ending is, I'd be pretty pissed off with a beautiful ending that ends the series rather than a crappy ending where I KNOW there'll be more =D

Its been 9 days Casey.

Start "Discussing" what the **** you got out of this allready, or the other top honcho will have to cover your arse there too.

And no. "April" wont cut it. We know you are stalling for time. We know you will likely only pay lipservice to the wishes of certain parts of the community. So now would be a great time to surprise the **** out of us and act like a man trusted with the story that shaped a gaming generation. And btw. Tell your bosses that too.

If I hear "listening" one more time from you guys it will have the same meaning as "I am crapping in your ear".

Well...
I'm pretty confident that guys from BioWare knew exactly what they where doing, with this kind of ending. They are not stupid, they are pros in what they are doing.
I'm pretty confident that right now they have us exactly where they wanted us to be... 2 weeks after launching game a gigantic bunch of nerds can't stop talking and crying and weeping, constantly heating the atmosphere. Daydreaming about REAL, GOOD, FAIR ending...
I'm pretty confident that all of this was cautiously planned as part of marketing.

Your confidence is misplaced. Noone would do this as a marketing stunint. It has cost them more than they can regain in half a decade even if they do everthinng right.

Well I bet you would also get angry when you are ignored for enough time. You say be productive. There are thousand of pages of productive ideas for Bioware to choose from. Yet instead of telling us a simple yes we will do a DLC or no, we will not make a DLC we are being told nonesense like artistic integrity (pretty funny when you realize, that they copied ends from Deus Ex 3) I do not wonder, that some less patient people get angry. I disagree with them, but I see the reason.

I simply can't believe that they ruined half a decade of great work in 15 minutes of crappy ending by mistake. There have to be a logical explanation.

My money's on "Executive meddling": someone at the top thought they knew better than a bunch of writers on how to end the series as a way to engineer a need for more DLC.

-There isnt one aside from "hubris". And trust me. Any "new endigs/tweaks" wone even remotely being to completely satisfy people around there. And ill bet on half arsed new DLC and expansions before Ill trust Bioware to redeem themselves. They had DA2., They had Decption. They lied to international fans. They told us they were listening. Sorry. Im not going to listen. Im going to vote with the wallet, Ill speak my mind, Ill influece those I can. And I can influece "afew", Im not letting this die out. And when DA3 comes along Ill be here to remind every one of this and previous fiascos too. Bank on it. :)

I will give Bioware credit for endings that made me stop and think. I was more curious about Javik showing up on Normandy when he had been part of my end game crew.
