Well. No more Bioware / EA for me. ME is the only series I have from them so it'll be easy.

Everyone has good points about the ME3 ending and yes alot of people have already begun to dismiss Bioware and EA for such a bad move if the game really is unfinished but the few who do buy the dlc if it makes the story complete will be the ones to see it first and then go and spread the word on if its a bad thing or not. My view is that if it is incomplete it should be a dlc free period. I am all for buying something extra like more downloadable charactors or missions, the occasional kick ass weapon or suit maybe, but everything? Nope.

Not all the critics dug the ending. G4tv website had there feedback for the week and Nicole pointed out the issues with the ending. I do not like it at all. I put too much time into three games to have an A, B, C ending and all the issues with the ending cut scenes being red, blue, green and full of flaws. I bought all the dlcs, did most of the side missions, played the online for what! I am sorry, just because Critics like something does not mean I am the paying customer agree or be dismissed at privileged gamer. If there is a half hearted response to this or no response. I will respond the best way i can. First is not to play the game again, there is no reason to see the other two colors endings, second I will not buy any DLC for this game, third I will not buy anyother bioware product until i read the responses ahead of time.

I just don;t know how you go from the many well thought out, excellent scenes in ME3 and then not be able to see how wrong the direction you were taking with the ending?

How will Bioware respond?

Option A: Ignore the fans

Option B: Ignore the fans and try to extort them with a £10 charge later for DLC?

Option C: Ignore the fans and add a montage DLC that doesn't explain the plot holes featured.

Hold your breaths folks!

And not totally related...but how about actually modeling Tali's face some time in the future. I dont get how you don;t see the opportunity with the interest that had built and stirred up around that mystery all those years.

I would pay to get a good fixed ending. I should not say this but I want to feel good about re-playing this game again...all of them

I finished last weekend, having avoided all spoilers (though I knew there was an ending controversy). I expected a DA:O type finish, where 1-2 options were a sacrifice (my favourite DA:O game had my Warden dying) and there was a scrolling text detailing the results of your decisions... but was left gobsmacked. I am so soured I don't want to replay it, just to get an appalling middle-finger result...

I guess the question is.... would it have ended differently if Bioware stayed with Microsoft Studios for the Mass Effect series?

I sometimes wonder if BioWare got under the wing of Rockstar...

I think option C is the best we can hope for, but instead will get option A or B.  In any case, based on their silence on the matter, I'm betting that BioWare's not going to do a thing to make the majority of angry folk happy.  Option C will be the closest they come.

It's not about closure. (Although that would be nice too. You did, after all, promise it in the pre release interviews.) The end is so rife with nonsense and gaping plot holes it does a disservice to an otherwise beautiful narrative. People will complain about anything just because they can, but when a response is this big and this negative, maybe it's time to think about more than just cramming on an epilogue and calling it fixed.

If you mention "clarify" or "closure" again I will kill a puppy. Yes lack of closure was a big problem but that does not change the fact the ending is for all intents and purposes broken. Its bad writing, riddled with MASSIVE plot holes, its poorly executed and goes against everything the series has ever stood for.

Even little tweaks that someone like me can make sound better like why couldn't the catalyst take the form of the Li? Someone the players cared about and not some forced clique brat that no one gives a damn about.

NOBODY wants you to tag on a 3 minute montage showing how everyone didn't magically starve to death or how a bit of glue and sticky tape fixed the mass relays.

We want a rewrite.

They should make Mass Effect 3.5 or just call it 4. But it should be all the things you wish you could do after you survived the final mission. Like go see Jacob in that green bar on wherever. Hold a funeral for all the lost loved ones.(Thane, Kaiden, Legion, Chambers and more). Go hang with Garrus one more time. Bang someone. Feed your fish. Play with the Hamster. Brag to everonye how you are the Man(or Woman) That kicked ass and become a Vet that hangs around the bar yelling at everyone. Idk. I wish it was more like the end to Mass effect 2 where i could still go and talk to people after the fact.

Because of ME3, nobody else is EVER going to get a pre-order of a collectors edition  or any version from me. Because of ME3, I will NEVER go to a midnight release event at Gamespot again. Because of ME3, I am NEVER spending money on DLC unless I absolutly know it will be a good addition to a title.

I did not stand in line at midnight on three occasions, pay $60 - $60 - $80 for games, buy all of the DLC, spend HUNDREDS OF HOURS trying to see all that is in your games, and making decision after decision to perfect my character just to get some sort of "dream sequence" that gives me 3 colors and ending animation that was so poor that I saw better quality animation last Saturday morning watching cartoons.

And another thing, The Joker I know and love would NEVER EVER leave Shepard behind in a fight. What in the world were you guys thinking?

Lastly, according to YOUR OWN CANON, star systems get destroyed when a Mass Effect Array gets destroyed. All of them are destroyed. So, what happens? All of civilation is gone now? Are you kidding me?

Darned straight I am upset about the ending.

Thank you for letting me get that off of my chest finally.

I am enjoying the multiplayer very much. 4 player co-op is great, and very addicting.

I'm guessing you've at least played the game if you dont own it.

And you, Signum8711, I see you only joined this forum three days ago.
Would i be right in saying yu just joined to rant about never buying a bioware game again?

Ridiculous. I guess they didn't even have the patience to 'listen' to us seriously or long enough.

Going for the player rather than the ball I see.

If anything else fails, go for the player...
