He's making it sound like it's a very small group of zealots that they just by chance happened to notice...

This small group will make them change it.

He's also making it sound like closure was the only issue. Even though that's only half of the issue.

its equally funny that he notes the news articles bashing us with insults for resisting the ending but says nothing about the articles (forbes for one) making much better arguments. Some of our more passionate fans ..... no sir, your wrong, how about, almost all of our fans???

Hmmm im not sure what to think really, lots of fancy words but not much really said. Guess ill have to wait and see, though if they do bring out some fluff dlc like omega or mp stuff without giving us a proper yay or nay on fixing the endings then i will be seriously disappointed. I used to see the bioware brand as an indication of a great game, at the moment im not so sure anymore...

Give ME3 more low scores. Don't buy any DLC from them.

Bioware is committing corporate suicide.

With all due respect, Mr. Casey.
Your words didn't quell the fire, they made it burn brighter.

Words are wind.

Just commit one way or the other. If you're going to fix it, fine. If not, that's fine as well. Just tell us, so we can all move on. Until then, I guess.. hold the line.

You know i can't even replay and get past the mars mission, because of the ending. Let alone buy DLC and play it. :crying:

I'm losing the little hope I had that Bioware will fix this.

@JessicaMerizan main thing I want to hear about is whyd my squad abandon me :( ? Theres no Shepard without Vakarian. Best friends to the end

@Jump919 that's likely something that wouldn't be addressed in a blog post. We're listening to your feedback for content- you deserve it :)

Holy s***....... its really happening

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Don't read too much into stuff like this from a community manager.  I don't doubt that there's discussion taking place about all of this right now, and that Jessica has been clued in on...but if it doesn't pan out, she's there to take the fall.  Thus is why you'll never see big name Bioware folks come in here and say ANYTHING that promising.

Get excited if you see someone a little higher up the ladder say something like that.  As of now, I can guarantee you a decision hasn't been made on what's going on with this PR storm.

Lol, i take it you don't follow politics. Image IPB

Watch 'yes minister' and 'yes prime minister' for a good comedic insight into it.  Image IPB

Here's all I got from this "response":
"Ooooh, look what the critics said..." I don't give a crap about any critic except myself.
"Hey, we're making more stuff to waste your money on..." What, you mean besides the $70 worth of stuff I already bought? Yeah, no thanks on that.

Hey, there is always multi-player.......

No, Multiplayer is a tiny portion of the game and a shadow of what it could have been, just like the ending.  Furthermore it's likely a target for DLC I won't be buying.

The funniest part, Penny Arcade isn't even huge fans of Mass Effect. He even admits that in the review.

Nice source guy, "Yeh, I sorta played the third game, it was pretty good".

I do agree they went wayyyy past the line with bittersweet. Right over into depressing.

bittersweet would have been to lose a few more crew members along the way and then have Shepard go out fighting, but the galaxy remains intact and the people you died to save have some kind of a future that makes sense to them.

trading Shepard's life for a victory is a bittersweet victory. trading the entire galaxy so a few survivors can scrape out the rest of their days is a defeat.

If you want an idea of how awful this is, the Protheans litterally ended their cycle more or less on the same foot as the whole of organic life. Except the Reapers... sorta. Depending on your ending, it might even be worse.

The mass relays are gone. Everyone is confined to their tiny more than likely unsustainable colonies, the major worlds have at best been ravaged and at worst entirely destroyed.

Interstellar communication is gone, which incidentally, means every region that didn't have Reapers, just saw their Mass Relay get pwned with no information as to why or how. But now will never know what happened. More than likely a few will just kill themselves in mass panic, thinking the reapers would arrive soon, because... well, wouldn't you?

So where do we go from here?
Throughout the next year, we will support Mass Effect 3 by working on
new content. And we’ll keep listening, because your insights and
constructive feedback will help determine what that content should be.
This is not the last you’ll hear of Commander Shepard.

Il take some ending dlc plz, $10 you say? how about $20 as long as you give us that first

Jessica Merizan tweet give some hope more than Casey PR letter.

Now they really seem to listen to us so we need to continue and hold the line. Always respectfully.

Doubt you'll read this...but people are not going to pour gas into a wrecked car. The ending spoiled the entire game for MOST, not just a few, fans. And no matter how much pre-ending DLC is being put out, it won't change the rotten feeling.
