Come on, Jess? Is it not obvious what we want? We want an ending that we understand! One that brings closure. Preferably and ending that doesn't result with the destruction of the Mass Relays and the Citadel.Jessica Merizan wrote...

In order to be successful in this, I need you to help me gathering feedback and tell us what you want to see. I understand that people are still feeling emotionally raw or untrusting, and I'm not saying it's not valid to feel that way. However, if you want to see your feedback implemented, this needs to become constructive and rational.

That fact that they seem to think "closure" is the only issue many of us have with the ending just goes to show they have not been reading many of the posts.
Truth is that entire post didn't take one step to resolve or clear up the issue, that's one of the glaring issue people have right now, Bioware is not directly addressing the ending and it's problems.

If you guys buy this, then they know they got you by the balls. Don't you see, IT WAS ALL PLANNED OUT WELL IN ADVANCE? They KNEW there would be fan outcry and by withholding the ending, they know that the "sheep" will pay for it.
Unless all story-based "DLC" is free (i.e. paid for when we bought the game), I know I, for one, am never buying a Bioware game ever again...well, maybe USED...that way, they get from me the 50% of the game that they released.

Am I the only one taking this statement as a win?
I didn't expect anyone in any official capacity to come out and say "Gee, we sure screwed the pooch on the ending!" Particularly just one day after it was released in a major market like Japan. Anyone expecting such has... well... less than a firm grip on reality.
But Hudson did, however, bring up that they included Garrus and Tali as romances in ME2 and brought back some small measure of RPG elements into ME3.
Those two issues were matches.
This is an ever-loving bonfire.
If they did work on those, they damn sure will work on this.
So I take it as a victory. A small and theoretical one, but a victory nonetheless.
It is. Wheeling out the Project Director to even mention something like the ending means they're feeling the pressure. They aren't cracking yet, but they're trying to squash this fast. Show them how hard that will be. Hold the line.
Indeed. It's empty PR, but the fact they felt the situation warranted it in the first place means we are getting through.

What exactly do you think we have been doing!? Also your cryptic Tweets don't help, they add fuel to the fire.
There are countless threads about what we want. Endings, multiple endings that make sense, have closure and are distinctly different based on choices throughout the series. If we did everything possible then we want a good happy ending, we deserve it. if we didn't give us ramifications like the Suicide Mission in 2.

Just one question that'll let so many people sleep easier:
Is an alternative/new ending DLC possible?
Thanks

His post wasn't an answer to *anything.* For Bioware to expect a vapid, PR-spin post to even mollify *any* sort of concerns is absolutely and utterly ridiculous. Nothing in his posts indicates that this is the beginning of a dialogue or that there are plans to address the ending.
As for what we want..I thought you were listening to our feedback? You should know what we want already. There are numerous articles that are well written and address the grievances we have with the ending. Our Child's Play Drive gives you a simple bulleted list of general things we'd like to see. There are hundreds of posts on this forum that demonstrate why the ending is a failure to the Mass Effect series.
If you were actually listening to our feedback, we wouldn't have to tell you again.

Would there be a proper place to send some things? Twitter's character limit is somewhat of a hinderence for explaining out ideas, and here on the forums threads get buried fairly quickly. I'm sure you aren't looking for an inbox with 50,000 emails. I'm just trying to find out what the proper channels of communication might be.

A lot of us here are because we're unhappy/unsatisified with the ending. The only thing I see HenchxNarf doing here is trolling.

Thank you Jessica. All of my hope is now temporarily restored. A direct confirmation that you are taking this all in is all I wanted to see. Hopefully it will be implemented, but that will all come in due time.
Know that none of us mean anything personal against you, or anyone at BioWare. The angry comments, like you acknowledge, are because they love Mass Effect. I know you guys don't take it personally, you'd go insane otherwise, I just wanted to make sure.
If you want to see my feedback, I believe it is back a page.
