I will not back down until I have a definitive answer one way or another, be it in my favor or otherwise. As it has already been said, hold the line.

This. Mid-game expositional DLC does nothing for me, MP DLC does even less. If I know where it goes at the end, I don't care what its the middle. This is not difficult...SamFlagg wrote...
The correct response (if properly sourced) is.
We are pleased to hear you are considering this.
We do regret that without a concrete promise specifically of DLC for the ending we can't bring ourselves to purchase any of the other DLC that you will be releasing until then. I'm sure you can understand why we are a bit wary of over interpretting what you've said to us.
It's not that we're demanding ending DLC, but we really can't invest any more in the game unless we know it is definatively coming.

Will The Ending be fixed or not? Will our choices actually matter?
Any solution will come AFTER endings are fixed.

This no way says they will fix the ending.. So until we know for a fact that they are going to fix the ending then our mission is not over..
Until then Hold the line We must.

wait correct me if I'm wrong but he doesn't say anything in that statement, only stuff we already knew
Indeed Grasshopper, you have discovered the truth of PR. Say all the nothings, while saying something.

While it's fairly non-committal... I will hold on a bit longer. You had better act quickly though, BioWare. A lot of us aren't going to stick around forever waiting. A lot more of us still will probably drop this thing like a hot potato if you announce any DLC that happens before the ending. You're skating a fine line, but this should give us a bit of hope.
Aye, my hope meter is dropping steadily. The line will be held.

It's legit.
It's a lot of PR spun nonsense that fails to address any actual issues. It's pathetic, pointless and insulting. Your company has gone from one of the best in the world to utterly pointless. I can not fatholm how anyone in bioware has let the company sink so low as to insult fans like this.

This is the first time that we have been DIRECTLY acknowledged. Even the vague promise of "seeing more Commander Shepard" is a step in the right direction.
It may or may not mean anything, but this is PROGRESS. Remember that. Stop flying off the handle here.
Hold the line and all that.

But we also recognize that some of our most
passionate fans needed more closure, more answers, and more time to say
goodbye to their stories—and these comments are equally valid. Player
feedback such as this has always been an essential ingredient in the
development of the series.
That's good enough for me. I'll trust that it translates to ending DLC & leave it at that. Looking forward to it!

Somehow I was holding out against hope that maybe it was just all a misunderstanding, or that there was some miscommunication, but... ah well.
Steam still downloading Dragon Age: Origin again. Once that's installed, I'll play it over the next week to get this bad taste out of my mouth, and then I'm just going to be done. I have absolutely zero interest in DLC multiplayer content or Aria or whatevertheheck else but a better conclusion to Shep's story.
If in six months' time I'll find it was miraculously fixed, yeah... I might get it, but this whole thing is just getting me down.
