At least he responded. Sure, it's vague, but at least he didn't outright rule out post-end DLC altogether.

It's legit.

It's a lot of PR spun nonsense that fails to address any actual issues. It's pathetic, pointless and insulting. Your company has gone from one of the best in the world to utterly pointless. I can not fatholm how anyone in bioware has let the company sink so low as to insult fans like this.

It's more than pathetic to be honest, pathetic implies empathy.

I have none.

Of course its not finished, appearance packs, guns, multiplayer garbage and other useless junk will come. Post-end stuff is not confirmed.

He's good at talking a lot while saying very little of substance, hasn't he?

2 things.

1.) We can't yell for not recieving a statement and then yell for recieving a statement.  While the sense of anger is still quite palpable we need to remain as mature and smart about this for as long as possible.

2.) We should treat this announcement as "Well that's a start.  But you do know it is going to take more to get me to the table."

The line must still be held until it is clear that there will be work done on the ending.  And actual in game work, not some companion novel or comic book.  Actual content within the game.   Because the ending is what we care about.  We know the answers are non commital PR answers, that is unfortunatally the name of the game.  The line must be held until we get commital ones.

Guys, stop a bit with the hate. We have to assume a good will from their side. Lets keep it civil but stay with our principles and hold the line!

Can't use his own BSN account and copy/paste it himself?

Seems like we know where the source of all the half-assing begins.

At the top.

I was VERY excited to see a response had been given.

Then nothing was said. Firstly, I will say that I am happy that you have at least acknowledged the fan's position, but then how could you not with the amount of it here?

Tell us there'll be post-Catalyst DLC. We will wait for you to make it.

No mention of fixing the ending. Just a bunch of words that could be interpreted both ways (fixing the ending or pre-ending dlc).

Until the statement definitively says that the ending will be fixed or added to, I will not stop...
Holding the line.

The Cake... It is A Lie.

However we now know this campaign is doing something. He is directly addressing that 'some' (snorts) fans are not happy.

Still we are making slow progress.

Guys, like it or not, this is progress. He is acknowledging this particular base, so this is progress.

This is the first time that we have been DIRECTLY acknowledged. Even the vague promise of "seeing more Commander Shepard" is a step in the right direction.

It may or may not mean anything, but this is PROGRESS. Remember that. Stop flying off the handle here.

Hold the line and all that.

I will agree that this is a good thing, and it means something. I'm also glad that he addresses us.
It doesn't give us exactly what we want to hear, but it's a start. Dont give up now!!

The game. The game's over. Or is it? The game has finished... did it? The answer is no. Unless it is yes... No! Of course it is! Is over. Yes. No. Yes?

Also, everything that adds to the game, the Day 1 DLC, a fixed ending that doesn't suck, any more story DLC that involves Shepard could have been added into ME3 is Bioware had taken more time to develop the game. Bioware should have said "EA, motherF**K your contracts. We want this game to be FREAKING AWESOME, so don't freaking handicap us to making a game with such vast scope in such little time."

"to do otherwise would betray the agonizing decisions Shepard had to make along the way."

Funny, I thought they were trying to betray the agonizing decisions Shepard had to make along the way. It's ironic, he says they were faithful for the vision they had for Shepard and most of us all think they completely went against everything the series stood for.

The endings were real bad. Secretly he knows it. He's still trying to find a good way to weezle out of admiting how bad they were.

Tip to Bioware: Fans pay bills...keep them happy or go bye bye. Mass Effect IS Bioware. If the franchise fails so does Bioware. I refuse to give them any more cash unless some of that content he alluded to involves fixing the ending.

Right. I think I'm done trying to sympathize with this community. Ever since finishing the game, you're all like "Please please PLEASE just give us something. Anything. Even a hint that you know what's going on and are willing to work with us. That's all we ask."

Then you get exactly that, and the first and only reaction is complete and utter hostility. You people make me sick.

I´m satisfied we got a response from the boss man himself, nohe did not mention specifics but did we really expect him too ??

Nope let´s give them time to get their affairs in orders and see what they can come up with, but now i am going to bed it´s almost midnight here tired been at work all day have a nice weekend people.

Wow, that was the most words I have ever seen to essentially say

"We promise we're listening, and because we're sooooo good at keeping our promises, buy our Omega DLC. Now I will continue to in no way address any corrections to the ending, but didn't it sure sound close??? Buy our DLC. We love you. Buy our DLC."

Still, we wanted to give players the chance to experience an inspiring
and uplifting ending; in a story where you face a hopeless struggle for
basic survival, we see the final moments and imagery as offering victory
and hope in the context of sacrifice and reflection.

I cannot say that the aim was achieved. The end result has the precisely backwards result. We were not uplifted and inspired by the ending. The ending took all of the inspiration the preceding moments gave us away. The hopelessness was what we were left with, not where we came from. Victory rang hollow. And the reflection was replaced by one single question. "What?"
