To me it sounds like he is basically invalidating the uproar over the ending by quoting PA and the New York Times, then telling us 'we're listening'. Not much new here.
And he might have done better to leave the “gripping, coherent triumph” quote out. Bit of a slap to all the fans who seem to have slightly different standards.

You wanted a response, it wasn't EXACTLY what you wanted, but you got it.
We don't get a response, we rage out and condemn the entire company.
We get a response, we rage out, and condemn the entire comapny.
It's no wonder they are so unwilling to say anything definite here. Chill out, it's progress, keep being respectful and putting on the pressure.

Perhaps talk when you have something useful to say instead of trying to drop smoke bombs everywhere trying to derail the peoples attention away from the terrible endings.

It's legit.
It's legit, and completely worthless. It's just a pile of useless marketing speak that's designed for dmage control.
He didn't talk about the ending at all.

I want this too, please. A million times please.IsaacShep wrote...
Seriously though, good read, appreciate Casey taking time to touch on the questions raised by fans, but please BioWare, just fix Normandy & teleporting squadmates part. That one was just jarring, disconnected and didn't make any sense. I'm absolutely fine with everything else.
Casey's statement seems to confirm my fear that they just used it to make things look bright and sunshiney without actually giving any thought to what it implies or would mean.
Ooh, look, here's something that couldn't and wouldn't ever possibly happen, but... green trees! Smiles!
What an epic way to ****** on every good character they ever had stand by Shepard throughout the entire trilogy.

We already knew we were getting DLC and would be seeing more Shepard. That doesn't say *anything* about the endings.
*sigh* Bioware, you can't keep us following this carrot forever. Eventually, some of us *are* going to give up, but it won't be the sort of giving up that leaves us ever playing your games again. We'll just chalk you up to another giant fallen in the industry.

same here, depends on what the first dlc is. If it's some crap about Omega or MP w/o them even directly addressing the ending I might just trade all 3 of them in.Reptilian Rob wrote...

They seriously need to address the ending question: will it be fixed, or not?
