My first recommendation would be to ask in a civil manner.

You should list the things you have tried, and what your setup is like currently so people know what to suggest. I had problems initially trying to make it talk to a SQL 2008 installation, but gave up and let the toolset install it's own SQL and after I ran the configuration tool again to reset to default settings had no problems.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit so there's no reason for yours not to work.

well when i start the toolset program, that box comes up "unnable to connect to database" run the toolset configuration program and vertify your settings or search the wiki.

i've tried everything that i can understand on this page: http://social.biowar...troubleshooting

and it seems like my SQL and toolset is talking because all the settings and stuff are correct compared to the guide. i dont maybe it dont work here in norway.

the cmd.exe thing was hard to get for me so here's how i did it:

first go to the dragon age folder, right click the folder, click on properties. in the new window that appears go to security. here you should give all rights to yourself. i just gave all the rights to everything and it worked.

copy all of the text below (including the "at the beginning and end). click on the start button and write cmd. you'll get an icon called cmd.exe. click that. write cd.. and press enter. do that a couple of times until you only have C:\\ if you don't already.

then left click the black area and paste the command you copied earlier,

"C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft SQL Server\\90\\Tools\\Binn\\"sqlcmd -S .\\BWDATOOLSET -E -Q "RESTORE DATABASE bw_dragonage_content FROM DISK = 'C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\tools\\dbbak\\bw_dragonage_content.bak' WITH MOVE 'bw_dragonage_content' TO 'C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\tools\\toolssql\\Data\\bw_dragonage_content.mdf', MOVE 'bw_dragonage_content_Log' TO 'C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\tools\\toolssql\\Data\\bw_dragonage_content.ldf'"

there should just be one backslash instead of two at all the places where there is a backslash so copy the command from the wiki instead of my post.

There are a multitude of posts on the matter. Please read through the posts that are already there before starting another thread like this.

And while I understand the frustration...swearing, even through the filter, particularly in the topic is unacceptable.
