Kaidan all the way. I never blamed him for how he reacted on Horizon, not considering all that Cerberus did. And he came around nicely in ME3 when it mattered, which was intensely satisfying.

The game pretty much forces Liara on you let's be honest, she's the canon..which is why I tried not romancing her. Alas I ended up romancing her in ME3 because she had the most screen time and was really the only viable romance in the game from the male perspective unless you want to deal with Ashley doubting you 80% of the time. On my female I actually found Samantha to be a semi-decent romantic interest.

Yup. And I LOVED the FemShep/Kaidan romance. It was great.

I do wonder if Kaidan has some different dialogue if you caused him to be more xenophobic in ME1 though.

I really really think thats what heppened in the end...the whole " sharing memories" looked more like heavy makeout mindsex again but in a rather unique white light...I dont recall it being very " memory like" I think she was trying to create a memory of Shep * nods* blue children.......granted she's alive, thankfully I left her at the outpost.

I brought her with me on the last mission and she still ended up on the nonsensical Normandy run on all three "choices" (or should I say "colors"?). :pinched:

The mind scene reminded me alot of the Watchmen scene.

I am not sure "faithful" is the best word here. Like many others My canon Sheploo romanced Liara in ME1. She did not seem interested in continuing the relation so I hooked up with Tali, which was quite adorable. Then after the SM, I did LOTSB and rekindled the romance with Liara. That continued in ME3 until Tali came aboard. After I flirted with her, Liara just wanted to be friends. I never took her for the jealous type, I guess she was not that interested in my Shep anymore. Long-distance relations involving being locked up is no doubt not healthy for keeping interest alive in a time of crises. I did however, appreciate her gifts very much both the time capsule and the melding. Incredible work by Bioware and Ali Hillis.

I stayed with Kaidan's romance all the way through and really loved it. I'm kind of a sucker for the trust/Horizon angst though so that only made me like it more rather than dislike it, which seems to be a common response.

I'm on PS3 so I started with ME2. Choosing Liara in a summary comic didn't give me much attachment to her, so I picked Tali. Then Shadow Broker came and I cheated on Tali with Liara (double secret cheat?!).

Then ME3 came and I picked Tali. Yeah, I'm a scumbag.

My canon femshep was always faithful to Kaidan, but I think that might have been different if Jack had been... let's say more open to my femshep's ladybits.

I stayed wth Miranda. No one beats her in my eyes. I liked a lot of the female characters, but as friends. I thought that was a cool effect - I was never tempted to have them be LIs, but I still cared for them deeply as friends. I would hate to see Tali or Liara die, even though I'm not romantically interested in them. I liked Miranda's role in ME3 as well - I just want closure for the ending so I can get an idea of what happens to Shep/Miranda/my squad. If he dies, how do they react? If he's alive, what happens?

Well, I can't argue about looks. To each their own I guess. But I'm pretty damn sure the galaxy's Shadowbroker is smarter than Mrs. "you were with Cerberus how can I trust you?" whine whine whine the entire time (hey that rhymes!).

Honestly, Ashley must be the most stupid and dense character of the ME universe. Even James Vega isn't that stupid.

Holy sh- I am laughing so hard, this is the best reply in this thread.

That being said, I stayed faithful to Kaidan, though in watching videos online where FemShep started a romance in ME2, I was a little put off by the fact that he says "I know why you cheated."

It kind of made me want to just punch him in the face...

Stayed faithful to Kaidan and was glad I did. Loved his romance arc in ME3. That last conversation with him is just about perfect. Beautifully written and acted.

But I'll add--and I'm apparently not the only one!--I never really blamed him for Horizon, because in view of his situation and the information he had, I felt his reaction was no unreasonable. His trust issues made sense for the character and were simply the obstacle to overcome.

Stayed faithful to Kaidan, though I did do a playthrough where Shepard went with Garrus during ME2, I never used it though and deleted it after finding out but ME3's endings.

Did not have a love intrest in ME1, had Zahir fall in love with Miranda and had him stay faithfull 100%. No way could I have him betray her after going through so much. Was a little disapointed she was not a squadmate or even on the ship but I loved her cut scenes.

Wasn't faithful on my first Shepard, was faithful on the other 2 shepard's I created.

I like Liara and the way her character developed in Lair of the Shadow Broker and Mass Effect 3. I also like how she went from cute frail goofy doctor in Mass Effect 1 to the Biotic Badass in Mass Effect 3.

Faithful to what? As far as I'm concerned I got dumped on Horizon. <3 Garrus.

On all my first playthroughs I tried to bone every female I could.

Sadly I always had to make a choice in the end, but ya....my Shepard likes the ladies. Alot.
