The only thing that bothers me about ME2, that I hope they change in ME3 is...

Galaxies, hundreds of planets, spanning infinity...and only 4 cities. They're should be at least a dozen, and even space stations to buy weapons and such. I'm not sure why this wasn't implemented in #2 and I really hope this has changed for the final chapter. I have ME3, and have had it for a couple of weeks, but have not played it yet. I accidentally erased a couple of playthroughs last week, because I wanted to take a fresh character and move him seemlessly into the third. I just could not wrap my head around the fact that 25 little side quests, netting $7500 a pop was a part of the game, yet no spaceports, metropolises, or even some black market weapon shops were not a big part of the game. I love the game, seriously. It's been so hard fighting the urge to play ME3 during this time. Hopefully they didn't overlook this practically fundamental aspect of a futuristic trilogy. I'm thinking Bladerunner.

Unfourtanetly no. There is the Citadell and nothing else for that.

Are you saying that in 3, there's practically nothing in regards to space ports or cities?

Yes. There is exactly one. On the plus side, the Normandy is slightly larger.

Ya, I would like to see the ME universe have more options when it comes to locations (like in Skyrim where there are over 7 cities you can visit). Unfortunately, the threat of armageddon and extinction, and that these places are being invaded by Reapers in ME3, doesn't help. ME2 was your best bet to see this implemented, but no.

The problem is probably resources. RPGs have for a number of years tended to include fewer and fewer cities and then severely simplified ones as a rule, with often a lot of recycling.
