Does anyone have advice for what weapons and mods I should give squadmates(any of them)? Are they better with weapons with a high ROF, etc.

On my sentinel play through I've been using Garrus equipped with the particle rifle from the DLC with the extended barrel and extra ammo mods, he seems to do a good amount of damage with them.

Do the weapons you choose for them affect their power recharge times? It doesn't show the weight modifier so I keep wondering.
