 Either I lack common sense or the toolset isn't very intuitive... I have a saved character file open and when I expand char_app to get char_attributes the fields within doesn't show anything that resemble the game's attributes (str, dex, etc). There are 3 fields with char_attribute_id (labelled 0, 1, and 2). Has anyone successfully modified their character's attributes using this toolset?
