- I know the sound setting is called "low dynamic" for a reason, but Shepard's footsteps are insanely loud. At least on Sur'Kesh.
- You know the epilogue with the stargazer and child, and how it shows their silhouettes? Get someone who understands human anatomy to redraw them.
- Give Joker some facial expressions. I love his lines but I hate talking to him, since he looks almost dead.
- Fix everyone's necks. When people turn their heads in this game I feel like I'm watching The Exorcist. It's so disconcerting that the uncanny valley applies to aliens here. Aliens.
- Separate walk animations while in casual clothes. Femshep walks like a faerie and manshep walks like a brute with brain damage. It's all in the arms being too far away from the trunk, it looks fine with bulky armour but in casual clothes...
- This is something I know can't be changed, but I think really has to be said. One of the biggest reasons everyone hates that little kid is his terrible voice acting.
- On the subject of voice acting, what's up with the performances in the very beginning of the game? The Alliance honchos? They sound really terrible. I was actually a little glad when they died, since it meant I wouldn't be hearing from them again.

You say in your little update TOS that we are not allowed to attack staff of Bioware, well how about giving us that same treatment? We are allowed to be upset
The more and more I visit these forums, the less and less I like Bioware as a whole and the less inclined I am to purchase BW products in the future.
Oh and also HUGE cop out on the whole unwilling to discuss the ending at Pax. Way to "listen"

Oh and for crying out loud, if I'm going to have flashbacks before I die, could it be Tali instead of Liara? That really irked me. Perhaps have the flashback actually be dialouge from any of the three games instead of just a profile shot of them.
I thought this would be perfect for a Tali flashback-
Shepard: "Wait a minute, it sounds like you're suggesting something Tali."
Tali: "What could I possibly be suggesting..."
^If I'm Commander Shepard, and I'm about to die, this is what would be going through my head. Not shots of Joker, Anderson, and Liara. /facepalm.

This whole "art integrity" rubbish is just that.
The art they are creating is a product. Art they are selling to us and that art was sold to us on the basis that our choices would matter, no railroaded ABC type ending, 16 different endings etc etc - you can see the list of what we were told our product would contain here
http://social.biowar...index/10056886/
An artist/sculptor/painter/whatever doesn't get to promise to (and get paid to) paint/sculpt a portrait of us in classic Napoleon stance, then turn in some piece of **** abstract version and when called out on it say "Well too bad. It was my artistic vision that it would look better abstract"
Their artist's integrity went out the door the second they accepted money for it and made statements of what they were accepting that money to deliver
I completely agree. Through their own design we grew to love the Mass Effect world we each created and trusted in Bioware's integrity when they promised us endings that would reflect our choices, especially since the game, at the end, could have wildly diverging storylines since they would not have to continue them later. They decided to go for a LAZY ending that did not reflect our choices, or that were even DIFFERENT from one another, and then decided to add insult to injury by making it a vague, depressing, ARTISTIC ending as if this was some short story they were desperately trying to get out of the slush pile. This isn't a short story or static fiction. It's a cooperative world that, through their earlier hard word and the nature of the medium, we grew to love and became emotionally attached to.
Going for the lazy, vague, deppressing ending (the plural just doesn't apply, here) was a mistake that lowers their company's stature in the eyes of its fans. We deserved an epic finale with emotionally satisfactory endingS that reflect the choices that we made and that effectively brought closure to the many powerful relationships we built during our adventures. It also should have at least relected the moral conflicts and themes that the series stood for instead of chucking them out the window in the name of their ... ART. Hell, we also deserved at least the CHANCE to EARN ourselves a HAPPY ending, somewhere in there.
Mass Effect 2, in my eyes, had the perfect style ending that should have been used as a template for the final ending. Different choices that relied upon our having built an army and various results that would reflect those choices. Instead of making choices that could result in the death of a squad mate we should have been making choices that would result in the life or death of the various factions we were gathering throughout the game. As it stands, why bother doing all that work? Just for the GREEN explosion? Woot? I really thought it was going to play out like Mass Effect 2 and was so excited at the prospect of being able to use both the Geth and Quarians, wondering how that would affect the final battle. I was completely caught by surprise when I learned that it didn't matter. In the end you could bring all the factions together and teach them square dancing, you will still wind up limping down that ridiculous platform to choose exactly which color we would like to die in and which two characters we would like to step out of a spacecraft for no reason that was provided.
I haven't picked up the game since that night. What's the point? I've seen the crappy ending and a color change won't make it easier to swallow the second time through.
They're not reading our feedback and don't really care. They just want their DLC, which won't be impacted one iota by our earnest pleading here, to shut us up. Satisfied fans are not on their list of important things.

Hackett suddenly radios Shepard and assumes she is in the Citadel.
This makes absolutely no sense. Why would Hackett assume Shepard is alive and inside the Citadel when the ground forces specifically stated that nobody from the assault team survived? He simply says "Shepard. Commander!" into the radio as if fully expecting a response and ready to deliver orders, when you know for certain he would have received the report stating nobody made it to the Citadel.

What I really don't like is the MP/SP link. Don't get me wrong, I am really enjoying the MP I just don't like the EMS system. We need a way to improve Readiness by SP only. I am also concerned what may happen in a few years if I want to replay and can't improve Readiness because MP is no longer supported.
So two changes please: a blue baby epilogue and the sorting out of the EMS system with more support for the SP experience to get the best ending.
Those two changes would put the extra shine on what is an excellent game and trilogy!

It's the wrong move, and far, FAR less than what actually needs to be done.
I don't know if it's been posted already, but this article says it best: http://kotaku.com/58...nvested-players
Short form: the ending is worse the more invested in the story you are.
That is not "artistic integrity", that is bad storytelling. In fact, I would say that the "artistic integrity" is PRESERVED by changing the ending, not by trying to force this depressing, nonsensical horror on the players.
I have been recommending people stay away from Mass Effect 3 because of the ending. I can no longer recommend the Mass Effect series to friends because of the ending to ME3. I hope Bioware understands the depths of their betrayal...

1. I play on xbox, so I need to pay an additional fee to play, it cheapens the mass effect experience.
2. Everytime before I go to the ending, I play enough MP to get my EMS considerable over 5k to make sure it doesn't drop below since the rate of decrease is crazy high. This ruins the pacing of the game.
I actually like the endings, however I still recommend to people NOT to get mass effect if you play on the 360. Most people I know do not pay xbox live to play online, so I tell them that ME requires a monthly fee to play mutliplayer (they won't use gold for anything else) and I explain the EMS system and how you need 5k points for the best ending, and you cannot get that without doing MP in combination with a load of dull fetch quests.
This is an instant turn off for casual gamers.

1. The ending is not a dream: If everything is true and Shepard finally got to the Citadel, there are too many holes that can’t be described here because it will take too much words, so I’m going to highlight the most important and biggest mistakes that must be clarify:
- Shepard: Shepard is on the Citadel. The Citadel explodes when you destroy the reapers. Shepard survives. How? And Is Shepard still on the Citadel?
- My Squadmates: Liara and Garrus were with Shepard trying to get to the Conduit. Shepard almost died and she/he is seriously injured. Liara and Garrus don’t have any wounds and they were able to go back to the Normandy.
Let’s try to show you the relationship this has with ME3 ending. Remember, Liara is my romance.
ME2: Liara recovered Shepard’s DEAD body from the SB and she risked her life on it, because she loves Shepard.
ME3: Liara is trying to reach the Conduit with Shepard. Then Liara doesn’t even know if Shep is dead or alive and she just left Earth with the rest of my squad.
BioWare, are you telling me that the same asari that risked her life to recover Shepard’s death body is the same Asari that left Shepard behind without knowing she/he lived or died?
Do you really think this is realistic? NO
Do you really think I’m going to believe that? NO.
Do you really think that makes sense? NO
This ending does not do justice to Liara, not to the rest of the characters.
2. The ending is a dream/hallucination If the ending is just a dream, the holes plots are fine, because it’s a dream. But, Shepard finally wakes up on Earth and I suppose there must be something more like:
- How Shepard defeated the reapers?
- What happened to my squadmates? They are on Earth, but are they dead? Or what?
- If Shepard survives, can she/he live happily ever after with his/her romance?
- What happened to the Geth and EDI?
- ....
If Bioware chose first option (the ending is not a dream) you need to clarify a lot of things and you will not convince your customers, because the ending doesn’t fit with the story and characters you created.
If Bioware chose the second options (the ending is a dream/hallucination), you have to explain less holes and you can still have a chance to recover fans and customers loyalty and to be remembered by the company who make an amazing game from the very beginning to the end. And not the company who ruin an amazing game at the end.
Now, Bioware, chose wisely.
Do you agree with me??

However, there are a few rough edges that have benn pointed out repeatedly in this and other threads (like why the hell is Joker fleeing with the Normandy with the squadmates that were rushing to the Beam along with you).
And then, although making a monolithic ending such as this is sensible, it is true that it departs significantly from the general tone of the game. A more modular ending would probably be more appreciated by the public.
Nothing more, just stress out that the ending is in general fine for me.

Come on Bioware. There is still a bit of faith I have in you. Fix the things at the ending that don't make sense instead of making the scenes longer. Why the f*%^ did Joker run away like a ****? Why was my LI with him of the crashed planet even though I took her with me on the final mission? I don't want Joker to bang my LI since he is the only other human there. And don't get me started on the M.E. Relays exploding.
Their dlc will probably provide scenes to explain why all of those things happened in a way that makes sense.
What they can never "clarify" is why dark energy was dropped and this ridiculous, nonsensical motivation for the reapers was picked up. Moreover, no additional custcenes will ever be able to explain away the fact that Shepard acts completely contrary to character by never questioning the catalyst.

Part of what the ending lacked was a sense of defiance. Throughout Mass Effect we've been doing everything we can to defy the Reapers, hold them back, stop them from rampaging amok through the galaxy. Disagreeing with the Reapers when told that we are weak and insignificant.
We wanted to end the Reapers in the same sense. Not calmly talk to some kid about how to solve a problem. I wanted to ram a truck-full of missiles down Harbinger's throat, for crying out loud! This is why I prefer the ending in my sig that's been written by a screenwriter. Shepard goes down, saving the galaxy in a blaze of glory and with no doubt that the Reapers would be stopped once and for all.
I realise that the Destroy ending does present a sense of defiance, but... well... why in the world is the crucible set up to only fire if I blow up a red tube? I mean, haven't they heard of buttons? Also, there's a world of difference between shooting a red tube and shooting Harbinger in the face. (This is why I tend to pretend that the Catalyst is preventing the Crucible from firing, and the Red Tube represents the Catalyst's AI core. Though this does beggar the question of how Shepard knows this...)
