I would say 9.3/10 ending or no ending.

9.5 only because of some quirky glitches and annoying gameplay elements. The writing, story, and emotional buildup was everything I have ever come to expect from bioware.

9.5 without ending and with import issues
9.8 without ending and fixed import issues
9 in current state.
Didn't like the ending but it didn't bug me enough to stop playing the game or series.

I never ever give anything a 10 cause there is always room for improvement but without the ending ME3 would have had a 9 - 9.5 / 10 in my book.

8/10 before space magic. Great game but a few graphic bugs and conversation too much tunneled.

It's the weakest of the three IMO. Not enough dialogue options, too much auto dialogue, poor quest tracking, poor sidequest quality, DLC was a ripoff, some other things as well. Still a solid title until the ending, at which point it sinks to 0/10 on principle.

Rating games buy a number is stupid you either like the game or you don't.

Honestly? I haven't played past Cerberus' attack on the Citadel, and that was 11 days ago. It feels ridiculous saying that knowing about the ending stopped me in my tracks from playing the rest of ME3, but really, when the ending is that bad, what's the point? Nothing I do ingame matters anyway.
Long story short, I haven't played enough to rate it. And I don't wish to rate what I have played, because the ending had permanently coloured (no ending-related pun intended) my view of the game.

There are varying degrees of liking though. I love the Mass Effect series whereas I merely like the Assassins Creed series. I sort of like the Halo Series, etc....

The first half of the game isn't bad. There are some awful animations, and it's clear the intelligence of the first two games is completely gone.
As shooters go, Mass Effect 3 is pretty weak. There isn't really anything major to recommend it here, certainly not to the Half-Life/Bioshock/Deus Ex stuff it would normally be compared with.
Side quests are utterly terrible. The worst in any RPG or even any shooter I've ever played. I don't know what's up with this, but it clearly wasn't someone's pride and joy they slaved over for two years here.
After Tuchanka, it goes rapidly downhill, with very dull level design/opponents, an oddly flat script that just manages to hold things together long enough for the big finish...
... which. Yeah. That has been covered in another 1000 threads already.

8.5/10 - generally story wise was engaging, side quest was difficult to track though.

I would, but any story w/o an ending isn't worth telling. Sorry.

8.5/10 without ending.
7.5/10 with ending, though replay value diminished 100% for whole series, thus reducing whether I'd actually recommend the game or not to a 'Definitely not'.
The game was by no means perfect without the ending, and that is what I require for 10/10, though it was very well crafted and polished. I still had a lot of issues with it, but nothing so major that I couldn't overlook it.
Yes, I am a semi-harsh marker. Deal with it.

9.5/10, no game is 'perfect'.
Though, its kind of pointless to rate a narrative/character focused game without including the ending, as there is no point to characters or plot without an ending.

One of the most epic games I've played; it had great build-up and great character development. I was so invested in my Shepard, his crew and his adventure. Perhaps not a perfect 10, it lacked in some storytelling at points and had some retconning and plotholes but it was nothing offensive... besides the ending that it which practically ruined would could've been the game series of the century. Yes, the century.

With each number being a tier, Mass Effect 3 was top tier without a doubt until the end
btw, ther are many games I would consider 10/10, I know some people rate differnetly, but this amkes the most sense to me.

9/10.
Deducting 1 because I did not care much for the non-interactive dialogues and a few other "less RPG" style approaches, lack of interaction with LI (big one) and a few other minor bits. Loved it otherwise.
The face issue, however, needs a fix, or... Well, it just need fixing.

9.5/10 Some bugs are annoying, the fetch missions aren't that fun.
5/10 with the ending, ruin the replayability of the entire series for me.

8/10.
Wanted more sidemissions like in ME2.
More deep conversations with LI.
Tali's Face better done (come on, the photoshop even sucks)
To compare all the 3:
ME1: Best Main Story (best ending)
ME2: Best Side Missions (Okay ending)
ME3: Best Combat (¤%&! ending)
With the ending, I'd give it a 4/10. Not enough to buy the game, nor any DLC without a fix.

I tend to overlook a lot of flaws if a game "gets to me" in some way. Well, ME3 "got to me" in a lot of ways. I'd rate 9.5 with the ending, 9.6 without.

Judging the game and ignoring the ending, 9/10.
Skimmed 1 point off the top for dropping the ball so hard on the ME2 romances (which were fantastic in ME2) and seriously jacking up a certain green Drell's romance-specific character arc. If they'd given me what I wanted from the romances in ME3, I would have given this game a 15 out of 10, seriously.
Except for that. rage. inducing. ending.
