I don't feel like typing up an in-depth review. But I'd give the third game an 8/10. The series as a whole is great but this game stand-alone is a bit weak.
-Very undiverse enemies. You get Cerberus, Reapers or Geth. You fight no Krogan or Asari at all. A few bandit or merc battles would have solved this.
-Sort of Cliche story: Earth gets invaded y giant aliens. Where have I seen this? Oh right, EVERYWHERE.
-Sidequests were unfulfilling and the menu was a bit wonky.
Not a bad game, but not perfect. I still had a good time.

9/10 if using reasonable scale. 10/10 if I was a game reviewer.

10/10 pre ending
after ending, unsure. If its indoc 11/10, if just poor writing, probably an 8/10(great multiplayer and I can play the rest of the game, which is undeniably brilliant without getting too hung up on the ending personally). If it turns out to be something else in the ending, well that's probably 8+/10 unless they somehow make the plot holes worse.

-7/10 w/o ending
It's my least favorite of the series. What i didn't like about ME2 they actually made even worse. Specifically the less control you had over Shepherd and other dumbing down. At least with ME2 you had good side (loyality) missions, ME3 is all fetch quests and crappy planet scanning. They actually took out the part of planet scanning where you land and do some random mission. It was just "scan planet, pick up alien artifiact".
Other than curing the genophage and temporalily solving the Geth/Quarian problem, i didn't find the main mission to be that memorable. There was no climatic taking down of Soverigian or suicide mission on the collector base.
Also, zaeed dialogue trees suck. I know it's expanded upon if you go to the citadel and talk to squadmates, but i just didn't want to do that.
The endings bring the score down to 5/10 for me. I'll just play the first 2 games and pretend this one didn't happen.

Rate ME3 without the ending?
10 of 10.
Every emotion evoked feels real -- even rage against Kai Leng seems appropriate while playing (though after the fact, one might realize they made him an outright Scrappy. Still, I'll give them credit).
The gameplay is pretty close to perfect from my direction.
And everything feels epic when it should be.
With... currently looking at a 6.6. Because endings are finals, finals in my book are a third of the grade, and this one deserves a zero or INC.

The game is a mess even before the ending.
Everything from the unorthodox structure and pacing of the narrative to Mr. ninja gaiden kai leng.

8/10 (PC Version)
Pros:
Pros:
- Lighting was very nice
- Voice-work was solid as ever
- Music was superb
- Excellent fluid combat
- Great moments with team-mates during the game, Liara and her vigil box, sniping bottles on the Citadel with Garrus, seeing Tali stepping foot on Rannoch.
- Incorporation of weapon customization.
- The space-bar being used for cover, to vault and revive teammates
- Textures were pretty poor
- Quest tracker was horrible.
- No PC FOV options
- No controller support
- The Citadel was the only hub world in the game. Missed Omega & Illium

As an adventure game akin to Uncharted, I'd say it's a solid 9. As an RPG that you are supposed to be making choices in? Maybe an 8.
The ending didn't "ruin" it so much as cement what I was already seeing wrong with it.

8 or 8.5/10 if ending is not a part of it.
Minor issues I ahd with it:
-Journal is just sad on tracking progress.
-Talis picture was a missed oppurtunity for a amazing reveal scene.
-The evesdropping, get quest, get item, return
At the very least, a actual conversation with the Quest Giver would be more appropriate. going further, Planet exploration for said quest items as in ME1 would have been a welcomed addition.
-War Assests (I/E previous Squad Members, rachni, geth etc) had little to do with anything other than the mission/convo dealing with them. We should have seen more of them, or least seen them fighting thier part of the war with us on the final push.
-Auto Conversation - Didnt feel very Mass Effect like. A large portion of conversations fely like Kasumi DLC.
Speaking of ... I really wanted to see more of Kasumi
Am I the only Kasumi fan here?
Overall, I enjoyed it a lot.
But in many ways, I think they took a step backwards, strongly in the area of Role Playing.
It felt a little to streamlined if that makes sense.
ME2 was better in this regard, and ME1 even better IMHO.
Still, I think it was awesome... if you do not count the end.

8/10. The whole mood of the game is too morose at times, although the gameplay is the best of the trilogy.
I can't rate it when the ending is considered. I just don't care at that point.

5/10 the crappy missions on the citadel and lack of a lot of combat missions weren't' that good.
