That was my first multiplayer death! I still don't know how I did it.

And I truly hoped nobody saw, or if they did that they wouldn't remember my handle...

Quite a few embarrassing vanguard deaths (nova not working followed by instant death). For some strange reason that never happens when I host the game...

Definitely bouncing from cover to cover while in actual fact all you're trying to do is revive the poor guy who is dead at your feet. There's a rocket trooper and a pyro closing in and you're just bouncing around looking like a complete fool.

Swarmers exhibit a similar acid effect when they attack you. They jump at you and explode, so I'm guessing the game counts it the same way as dying to the acid puddle... which frankly is probably less embarassing than it saying "... killed by Swarmer" >.<

I can't even count the number of times I've rushed into cover to try and execute a grab, and the grab mechanism doesn't trigger right and I end up getting up and meleeing the air over the cover... as I get blasted into oblivion by the enemies behind it >.<

So just played a game on wave 11. 3 of us taking on tons of enemiesup top, 1 at LZ, I grab some ammo, see other 2 are with me, start killing some more. Then I hear, shuttle incomming..... Oh crap, the 3 of us book it to LZ and get left behind. Other guy must have been like, stupid kill****s cost me 10k. And, he would be right, so embarrassing.
