Anyone know how using squadmate's abilities with E/Q work? The ability that shows up next to their portrait at the bottom center of the HUD is the most recently used one, but when casting with E/Q it's not always the one that is used.

Thanks.

That should be rather obvious as neither console has an E or Q button.

 If only... :bandit:

Edit: Reading E/Q in the title, I wasn't sure what was meant at first glance.

E and Q doesn't tell squadies to cast, it either tells them to attack the current target, or move to the point/cover if no enemy is targeted.

To select a specific power to cast you have to target an enemy and then hold left shift and select the power you want them to use from the menu.

E and Q does, too, tell them to cast. And the manner is the same as in ME2, i.e. it casts what the AI thinks is the most appropriate. And no, this isn't the same as auto squad power use. Test it out yourself. It's how I've always played both ME2 and ME3 ( with auto squad power option off, too)
