I get this same error. I noticed some people were mentioning having trouble loading their save games as well. I found a fix that works for me, try and start a new character then once you start playing load your save game. It seems to work for me, well I did it twice and it worked.

Unfortunately this doesn't help.. but I've encountered the same thing.. it happens about every 5 minutes (+/- 2).. I am thinking maybe my router is causing some trouble, but even if it was my router I wouldn't really know where to look.. if anyone knows what port needs to stay open, maybe it would fix the issue. It would be helpful to know if this is game-related or hardware-related..

ok I just stopped the auto-login in-game, logged off manually, and re-logged in. Now it appears to be working. I am successfully uploading new screenshots.

Are the folks having the problem launching the game with the console command enabled after the exe? Because that seems to blow up a lot of the online things.
Try loading the launcher, then play from the launcher, and see if you still get the error.

I get this problem all the time. I have found no solution to it yet. I have not enabled the console command on the exe file. It also happens on the character creator.....

1. If online screenshot storage is full, how does one free up space to upload new shots? Deleting screenshots within Dragon Age does not work, despite what the website says.
2. My achievements are uploaded immediately to the site. My character, however, never updates no matter how many times I save it in a fresh slot, level up, change gear, etc. I have gone from lvl 8 to 18 with no updates. How to fix this??

This is the scoop.
When the game first came out, it had this really cool feature where it would upload 100 screenshots to your Bioware's Community page on their servers. Think about that for a second. Their servers just couldn't handle that amount of traffic. It worked great for a few days after the initial release, and it never worked again...
I wonder how many people have "questions" asked in EA's support site for this. I've never gotten an answer back from anything I've posted there regarding other issues I've had with Mass Effect.

Same, been getting the error daily. The game shows 2 of my play through characters at or near level 21 and the rest in the low teens or less than level 10. I have actually played the game through 8 times. But aside from bragging rights, I am not concerned about it.
In actuality I suspect it is a bandwidth issue on the server side and your isp times out waiting for its turn at the data base. It's not a bug its not really the data base server, its the network service that is the issue. That's just my opinion though.
