When one or two of your members (non-krogans) absolutely have to melee enemies even phantoms and geth prime.
*shoot shoot* *enemy has few squares of health left* *player tries to melee*
It's easy to kill phantoms using heavy melee.
It's also very ironic >

It's strange. Out of all enemies, I find reapers to be the easiest and Geth the hardest. Not sure why people find reapers harder than others.
They're not hard if you're a combo team of Adepts and Engineers.

I'm just a turian soldier mostly.
I have a lot more parties wiping on Geth than on Reapers is all I'm saying. You need specific people and tactic to hold a cap point against Geth hunters/pyros and they will rush you like you're made of machine oil (or something Geth like), while against Reapers, I find it way easier since only big ones rush you, Brute go down in seconds and you can just kite the banshees about. Also, Prime and rocket trooper both have INSANE aim/accuracy and can shoot you (and hit you) through the smallest of small holes.

Let's see. Tonight I go into a Gold game with two Human Vanguards both level 12 and an empty slot. Both of them are sporting Avenger II, no mods and no side arms. Neither have N7 above 20. I'm greeted with "ready up or you'll be kicked", and they both green light as soon as I hit the lobby.
You should've stayed. For the LULZ!
I did and they were both 2 medigels dead within a minute.

One of your team dies next so someone, and the person who's alive next to them just tries to get kills instead of ressurecting the person.
There is a fine line on that though. Sometimes you have to kill the enemies around your wounded ally before resuscitating them or you'll get killed in the process or they'll flatline again because they revive with no shield.

I know when things are going to be bad when you and another person see a few Geth Pyro around a tight corner.. and rather then back up and let them come to you, they run around the corner, shoot twice, do a doge-roll in the wrong direction, then SQUAD MEMBER IN TROUBLE.
People that run to where the last wave spawned and stand there.
And to be different, one way you know a round will be awesome:
Slot 1: Engineer
Slot 2: Engineer
Slot 3: Salarian Engineer
Slot 4: Quarian Infiltrator.
ENDLESS TECH BURST.

This. There's no point reviving your teammate without taking care of (most) of the enemies first. They're just going to end up dead again.. and you with them.

Detailed guide to being better then 90% of people online: Go Engeineer. Spam Overload and spawn combat drones behind Guardians. Pick one person on your team and follow them around overloading whatever they shoot at.
The End.

Really depends on the siutation. If you can buy a few seconds to get two people back into the fight, it can be worth it. Of course, to do that you generaly have to do something like drop a Decoy, Chain Overload, or just buy yourself a few steps away from a banshee.
And of course, getting your Asari back into the fight when a Phantom swarm hits can be worth getting yourself gutted.

First character I tried was actually an engineer, had fun on that one, but tried some other things instead of sticking to it.. Might even play it next. I'm actually okay on power classes. Have a 20 sentinel that I love playing. I'm a little insane, warp/throw exploding stuff and chewing everything down with a Revenant (I don't carry anything else...).Joush wrote...

However, this morning I unlocked a Turian soldier. Let's just say I'm not so good with the sniper rifles. rofl
Although I'm better now than I was 2 hours ago. Which, ah, isn't saying much.

Please people, save your medigel for when it really matters. You can only use 2 per match, no matter how many you've got saved up. So, don't waste them when it's not necessary, kay?

1. Random Map/Enemy on Bronze with my Soldier.
2. 3 other Players with N7 below 25; all ready
3. While I press Space the host changes the difficulty to Silver. (I just noticed to late to do anything) ->At this Point, just one second before the loading screen I KNEW that its going to be a fail.
4. Since NOBODY is prepared to do Silver all the other guys die in the second wave against Geth. First one leaves the game.
5. Game Over.
I wasn't in the mood for a fail-game so I left too.
Little comparison of the players:
Me: Ammo, Weapon, Armor Bonus + Avenger IX
Others: Best Weapon was a Predator II, No Boni.

Imo, reaper difficulty spikes when moving from silver to gold. Reapers on silver is pretty easy since they don't throw much at you at once.
