Not always true in some cases. Try going with a team of adepts there always gonna be someone that has at least double the score of someone else. Also how about those salarians that protect your flank from multiple banshees and brutes while the rest of your team is killing other stuff. 

True Salarian Infiltrator on some maps.. heck a lot of them can keep a lot pinned in place just by Cloaking, sniping and cloaking.
Once you know the map it's good odds where the first waves are coming from based on player location.

It's not great team work, but it can be if you switch between lone wolf and cloaked healing tag / objective hitting.

Had a krogan sent last match. Died within the first 30 seconds. Bet with the team he would rage before round 3. He raged at round 2 after running out of med gels

Often, for me it's nothing more than the first few seconds:

Good match - team clearly knows the ropes, establishes a tactically-advantageous position, depending on the mix of classes present.

Bad match - 'team' is a misnomer, since everyone's just scattered, running to bag enemies AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. Cue a lot of dead squaddies in the first wave, followed by the game going down the pan shortly after...

When I join any game and the other three players are all the same class.  The game is designed for a diverse team; I don't care how 1337 your 'r@d sn1p3r sk1llz' are, three infiltrators just ain't gonna cut it.

Join a game with a Human Sentinel, an Asari Adept, and a Drell Adept. I figure, hey, it'll be a biotic explosion party so I'll just grab a Salarian Engineer and Decoy one of the approaches while they are covering the rest.

3 waves later, my Engineer, with his trusty Carnifex I, manages to have the top score by 10,000... and everyone's using weapons instead of biotics o.O

Vanguards can safely charge a banshee/ravager IFF someone warps it first. (They still need to back away, but the target will be recoiling from the blast)

People not doing objectives are my number one gripe. Wave 10 is (almost?) always an objective, if they are too horrible to complete objectives in wave 6, they will die in wave 10.

Waves 3, 6, and 10 are always objective waves. And yeah that's a major gripe for me. Another one is when I'm with another adept that doesn't know how to bounce biotic detonations between each other.

I play krogan sentinel on silver, I always run solo with tech armor, bashing everything to death just fine. MY pet peeve in this case is when I see a fellow krogan sentinel in my team with almost the same powers... and he's sniping? -.-

When your glass cannon Asari vanguard finds herself floating above the battlefield on reaper gold.
Then gets knock outside the map, warps back once again above the map, and gets mauled by a brute.

Now if she could have gotten to someplace way up with no reapers that would have been fun.

One running off alone, killing several, but dying on the other side of the map with bad dudes all around; you know the late waves are going to be tough when you need the extra firepower against the 2 Banshees and 2 Brutes that will always be in your objective (plus several more on the way when missiles are out)

When someone is playing a vanguard/adept/engineer/some other power dependent class yet insists on carrying a mantis/avenger or some other silly combo and never uses a power. There is always that moment where I see a marauder marching up on a widow sporting vanguard and they vanguard just sits there and takes all the shots until they drop. Ok, I'm a pretty laid back guy, if you just want to snipe that's cool, but you do know that charge restores you shields right? Even if you're carrying too much crap to properly play a vanguard, you could at least charge when you need to.

Or that engineer sniper that refuses to cast a combat drone out while they desperately try and retreat from that brute/banshee/prime/whatever. You do know that it will most likely draw whatever is chasing you away right? Hey, some to think of it overload would probably drain that phantoms barrier easier than you trying to quickscope it with your widow. . . oh.. you're down.

Sigh, I am a pretty laid back guy like I said. I'll give everyone a chance, hey you never know, you just might make it through. I have to say there are some things that make me grit my teeth though.

In Silver, for me, it's when mostly everyone starts dropping in the first wave or 2 against Reapers.
In Bronze, when everyone drops in the first wave.
Usually for me all missions are gone terrible if the lvl 20 Krogan dies very early in the game.

I once played a game with 4 adepts.  Two human, one asari, and one drell (me).  The Reapers never stood a chance.  Explosions everywhere.  It was beautiful.

My latest pet peeve now is when a class is doing something they're not supposed to. This happened to me in my last game last night: A krogan sentinel using a sniper. Dude, pick up a shotgun and kick some people around like a REAL KROGAN.

Hahaha. Not gonna lie, there's been a few times I've missed with the rocket launcher (trying to hit Banshees).

I just end up shaking my head and going 'Son of a...'

In all seriousness, My ultimate facepalm moment was when I was playing bronze to help a friend and all the players missed with all thier missles to kill a Nemesis for an assassination mission.
