I just sell them, you don't need them even on Nightmare, they just take up bag space.

you need them if you play without healing potions.
In the state of the game as it was shipped; they are vendor trash

I found warmth potions to be very helpful against dragons. Other than that I always sell them. Mostly because I never know which enemy uses which kind of spell.

Never used any of them. Never really seen a point.

Used them once, the first time I fought Flemeth. Without a healer. At a pretty low level.
Other than that, no.

Solo nightmare game as a rogue you'll use spirit balm to avoid getting crushing prison.

I tried using some a few times but couldn't tell if they were helping or not. They are taking up a crapload of bag space though....

Yep really hard to know what to use when you have no idea what is really being cast at you most of the time. Occasionally I'd use a warmth balm but that was the only one I bothered with. I'll sell them next time I play through.

Not really needed but I use:
Warmth for dragons
Spirit for horrors and other crushing casters
Ice for early desire demons (cone of cold)

I use "Swift Salve" quite often, combined with dual-striking and some concentrated deathroot poison my rogue is a beast. ( I managed to beat a major story fight with no potions and no healer)
Occasionally use other stuff such as "Rock Balm" (on tanks) and "Incense of Awareness". I find the elemental stuff to be the most useless due to their situational effects. Really when you get down to it there's a lot of depth to the combat that most people don't even scratch the surface of. (because they don't need to)

O.o selling rock balms is cheating now? Or do you just make up things to blame for your failings?
