 Well, I recieved messages on my private terminal from Miranda and Thane. I've done some quests and then returned to the Citadel, defended it from cerberus attack. I didn't found both of them, where they are (I saw youtube videos, miranda on D24 dock, thane in huerta hospital). But Thane's name is on the memorial desk in Normandy. OK, if he died, why nobody in hospital told me that? So, it a bug. The same situation with Miranda. I've read many forums, i've tried to find them in every location people said, no matter, I haven't them in the game, very sad.
Hope for solving this issue in the next patch. (I have russian version, but it doesn't matter)

PS I like ME for non bug gameplaying, but ME3 is full of them, hope for solving soon.

uhm, you just waited too long. Thane was suffering from Kepral's syndrome. So if you didn't go to meet him he died without saying goodbye. And since he was using a fake id in the Hospital, no one can tell you that "Thane Krios" died, because no one with that name ever went into the Hospital.
Same with Miranda. She was following leads and needed your help. You didn't show up, she moved on. Not a bug. You just missed them.

Hmm... regarding Miranda, I got the message in my inbox for the second meeting, soon as I saw it (I check every time I'm aboard Normandy), I went to the Citadel. Looking at the map, showed Miranda in the Embassy area. Looked everywhere and guess what... she wasn't there.

So am I late having immediately gone there to look for her after the second message, or just early?

Thane I had no problems with whatsoever. Followed things through with him to his death scene. Very sad.

When it says she's in the Embassies, you actually have to go to the Spectre room and activate the comm terminal to talk to her.
